Jason Segel And Michelle Williams Move In Together
According to several sources Jason Segel and Michelle Williams are taking their romance to the next step. The pair who have been officially dating since February decided to take the leap and bought a sprawling New York City apartment . According to sources the purchase was made a few months ago.
It is said not only is Michelle Williams moving on with her muppet man Jason, but she decided to put the Brooklyn brownstone she bought with Heath Ledger up on the market. Williams reportedly lived in the brownstone with daughter Matilda Ledger, 6, after his death; the brownstone acted as a way to memorialize the late actor and ex fiance.
However, it seems as though she’s closing a chapter and starting a new beginning with Segel by purchasing the sprawling loft that overlooks the Manhattan skyline. Segel, who’s doing just fine as a figure for Matilda, was seen with the 6-year-old outside the new home. According to an onlooker, “Michelle, Jason and Matilda seem very happy here, the building is beautiful. They’ve been here a few months now and they look right at home.”
The Boerum Hill property is said to be worth a hefty $4.2 million dollars. When Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger bought the property in 2005 the brownstone was worth a reportedly $3.6 million. Ledger died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in 2008 while the two were separated. Since then, Williams has been concentrating on raising Matilda, although she had a brief romance with director Spike Jonze shortly after Ledger’s death.
When asked by Extra about his romance with Michelle, Segel kept quiet but said, “we would very much like to be happy.”
