Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Remember ‘Twilight’ Era Like ‘Yesterday’ Despite Having Different Lives With St. Vincent And FKA Twigs Respectively
It has been years since Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson broke up, but they both remember their Twilight days like it was “yesterday.” The 26-year-old actress and the 30-year-old actor live completely separate lives now, with Kristen newly involved with the singer St. Vincent and Robert on the verge of marriage with FKA Twigs. But having been each other’s significant other for so long meant that those Twilight years still mean a lot to them.
Kristen Stewart spoke about her breakthrough role in Twilight and how she still remembers it like it happened a short while ago.
“I don’t jump right back into those memories but as soon as you see pictures, you’re like ‘Oh God, it’s like yesterday,'” she said according to People Magazine.
“I was 17, 18, when it all went down and that was the most uncomfortable, terrible, weird thing […] At the same time it’s good. It kind of forced me to stand to attention in this way, which, I didn’t have that.”
Robert Pattinson echoed similar sentiments in a separate interview earlier this month. After his three-year relationship with Kristen Stewart, he is now looking to get married to FKA Twigs, a British singer.
“I still feel like I’m 22 … maybe even 14,” he said to People Magazine.

He and FKA twigs got engaged “early last year but they have since postponed their nuptials,” the reasons for the delay still unclear.
Just because Robert and Kristen remember their earlier years clearly, does not mean that they want to get back together. In an interview, the actress made it evident that she is much happier with the relationships she has with women.
“When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn’t like it,” she told Elle UK.
“But then it changed when I started dating a girl,” she added.
“I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier.”
Unlike her ex, Kristen Stewart is not locked into a stable relationship. Just in the past year, she went through different relationships with SoKo, a French singer-actress; and Alicia Cargile, her ex-personal assistant. Right now, she is in a relationship with St. Vincent, who just broke up with British model Cara Delevingne.
Instead of being covert about their union, St. Vincent and Kristen have been very public.

“[Kristen and St. Vincent] made a stylish pair at Thursday’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show and Tea at Chateau Marmont in L.A,” reports Yahoo! Style.
“They posed side by side without any kind of PDA, but with a cool confidence. They wore shades and K.Stew, who had her blond locks slicked back, kept her hands in her pockets and her iPhone at the ready.”
“[T]he women, who were seated by Emma Stone and Katy Perry, couldn’t resist getting hands on with the poodles that were part of the fashion show,” the report continued.
That doesn’t mean that Twilight actress is slacking off on her acting career. She debuted two movies this summer at Cannes Film Festival, Cafe Society and Personal Assistant, and continues to gain notoriety in Hollywood as a budding actress.
She is busy working on yet another film project, far away from New York City, where she and St. Vincent were seen sharing their first days of love.
“On Wednesday, Kristen Stewart slipped into costume after costume for her filming day in Savannah, Georgia,” reports Daily Mail.
“She was in the midst of principal photography for a biopic of the infamous Lizzie Borden, who in 1893 was acquitted of slaughtering her father and stepmother. Chloë Sevigny, also spotted on set, has taken the leading role, whilst the 26-year-old will play the family’s Irish maid Bridget Sullivan.”
