Is Johnny Depp Back Together With Vanessa Paradis After Split From Amber Heard? Heard Makes Moving Speech On Sexual Abuse

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard recently experienced one dramatic and very public split that involved allegations of abuse and restraining orders, as well as accusations of gold-digging against Heard. Amber Heard filed for divorce from Depp in late spring of this year and the two had officially divorced by August following Heard stating eventually that she and Johnny were involved in a very passionate relationship but that violence was never intentional on his part. Johnny was ordered to pay Heard $7 million, of which the actress relayed, all was given to charity. The former couple, whose marriage lasted a mere 12 months, released a joint statement.

“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity,”

Since the divorce was finalized, both Amber Heard and Depp have been keeping quite low profile aside from the occasional outings with their own pals and confidants. Heard was rumored to have been engaging in a romance with Elon Musk, yet this claim was soon shot down and debunked. Heard has also been linked inaccurately to a couple of other men, yet those assumed to be her new flames have stated they are merely long-time friends.

Johnny Depp remained out of the spotlight until this past month and is now working away since being cast in the new Harry Potter film. The star is also reported to have been spending time with his former long-time partner Vanessa Paradis, with whom he shares daughter Lily Rose and son John Christopher. As Yahoo shares, Johnny and Vanessa were together for 14 years prior to their split in 2012. There have, however, been a couple of sightings of Depp and Paradis this past month within Los Angeles.

The publication shares words of a source who reported on a sighting of the former couple.

“‘They were flirting with each other in a quiet corner at the end of the bar and didn’t seem to care who was looking,’ The source added that Johnny was so besotted by his former flame that ‘he didn’t want to leave her side’ and apparently even followed Vanessa to the bathroom!”

As noted, the French actress and The Pirates of the Caribbean star share two children.

Amber Heard, as previously mentioned, has been spending time with friends and working on new film projects. The beauty was also at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards where she spoke out against sexual abuse and fought back tears during her moving reading that came from the account of the victim who was attacked by Brock Turner. Heard took to the stage and read the words of Emily Doe, the unnamed victim whose statement made international headlines. Amber broke down through portions of the statement, yet as Woman’s Day notes, picked herself back up again to share the final words of comfort and support to those who have been victims of sexual abuse.

“Finally, to girls everywhere – I am with you.”

“On nights when you feel alone, I am with you.

“When people doubt you or dismiss you, I am with you.”

As noted, Heard filed a restraining order against Johnny Depp in late April prior to their divorce after she made claims of physical abuse inflicted upon her by the 53-year-old star. The actress is laying low and moving on with her career now that she and Depp have officially parted ways. Their relationship was said to have been a volatile one from the start and rumors had been rampant prior to their wedding that the two would never even make it down the aisle.
