According to Yibada , The Legend Of The Blue Sea is on track to garner 10 million viewers next week. This means that the show is on track to surpass the success of the Song Jong Ki and Song Hye Kyo (SongSong) drama, Descendants Of The Sun . As Yibada notes, during Descendants Of The Sun’s run on television, the series got viewers that were around the 2 million mark.
A lot of this success can be attributed to the fact that The Legend Of The Blue is Lee Min Ho’s first K-drama in many years. As Inquisitr previously reported, Lee Min Ho previously said in an interview that he was a bit nervous about his performance would be perceived.
“I’m nervous and excited to see how everyone will respond to it,” he said. “I get to act out two roles on ‘The Legend of the Blue Sea,’ including one as a conman and so I’ll be able to show many diverse sides to me. Please look forward to seeing them.”
