Fans were hoping that Rumple, aka Mr. Gold, would do his best to change his ways. However, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen, at least so far. He is just getting worse, and Once Upon A Time fans fear for Belle and her unborn baby. According to Futon Critic, the synopsis for Season 6, Episode 9 gives a clue that something big is going to happen. The promo clip showing Belle in labor seems to confirm this. With the baby coming early, will it be too late to save baby “Rumbelle?”
“In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Rumple collects Jack and Jill’s son as bait to lure a powerful being to him. Back in Storybrooke, Gold tells the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) that she must kill Zelena (Rebecca Mader), and the EQ makes a decision that will change her relationship with her sister forever. When Belle discovers Gold’s plans for their son, she convinces Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to help her steal squid ink that can immobilize him, and, as a result, Belle is left to make a sacrifice that will affect the lives of everyone in Storybrooke. Meanwhile, Jasmine (Karen David) finds a genie-less lamp that she hopes to use to save Agrabah, and Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) finds a way to be her hero.”
During the season break, TV Guide reported that Rumple and Belle’s relationship was going to get messy. The publication stated that Rumple won’t change because he likes being the Dark One.
Adam Horowitz went to Twitter to release a script tease for Once Upon A Time Season 6, Episode 9. Rumple tells Belle that he can never be the man she thinks he is capable of being. Belle responds that it doesn’t have to be that way.

According to TV Line, the OUAT showrunner teased that there might be hope for Rumple and Belle. The website added that the November 27 episode is supposed to be a “game changer.” The statement doesn’t confirm that “Rumbelle” will reconcile, but it does hint some hope lies ahead, either for the couple or Belle’s baby.
“The audience doesn’t know where we’re headed with Belle and Rumple, but no matter how dark things get, the show doesn’t go bleak. It’s still about hope, and it’s always darkest before the dawn.”
The promo clip for Once Upon A Time Season 6, Episode 9 teases that Rumple is a beast who is determined to get revenge. Hook is attacked, and Belle is cornered. In the next scene, Belle starts to go into labor. Then, she is seen screaming in pain while Emma Swan tries to comfort her.
Carter Matt explained the title of the upcoming episode, which offers clues about what is going to happen with Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin’s characters.
“Given that changelings are responsible for taking away real children and replacing them with something else (typically fairies), we are starting to get more of an understanding as to why the episode is named this.”
What do you think is going to happen with “Rumbelle?” Is there any hope for Rumple and Belle, or will he take her baby away? What kind of sacrifice will Belle make in the next installment of the fairy tale drama? Once Upon A Time Season 6, Episode 9 airs November 27 on ABC network.
