‘American Horror Story’ Season 6 Finale Spoilers: Evan Peters And Matt Bomer To Make Surprise Appearances?
American Horror Story: Roanoke has reached its end. The finale airs this week and fans will finally see the end of one of the franchise’s most surprising seasons to date. As the end draws near, will Evan Peters make one final cameo? Will Matt Bomer finally make his highly-anticipated appearance?
Movie Pilot reports that the finale will conclude with Lana Winters, the reporter from Asylum, getting to the bottom of what really happened in the fictional shows, My Roanoke Nightmare and Return to Roanoke: Three Days in Hell.
The final episode will revolve around Lana’s interview of the last survivor of the documentaries, Lee Harris. We still don’t know if Lee can be trusted, but there is a good chance that Evans and Bomer will be seen again before the season wraps.
Peters first appeared halfway through the season as Rory Monahan, the actor who portrayed Edward Phillipe Mott in the reenactment to My Roanoke Nightmare. Rory was then killed during the first night of Return to Roanoke.
Peters was only in two episodes this season, yet the actor is credited as a series regular. Ryan Murphy may have done this to throw fans off the trail. However, other cast members, like Lady Gaga and Adina Porter, are listed as special guests and have contributed more to this season than Peters.
Given Peters’ lead status this season, there is a good chance he will make another appearance before the season concludes. How might Peters return to the show?
Rory may have been killed by the nurses in Episode 6, but Lana’s interview with Lee might uncover some behind-the-scenes footage never seen. After all, everything we’ve seen so far has been edited for television, which means there are hours of footage that was cut.
This opens the door for Peters to return as either Edward Mott or Rory, or perhaps both. This could come in the form of flashbacks or in Lee’s version of the story. There is also a possibility that Rory will come back as a ghost, which would make for an epic season finale.
According to Christian Times, anyone murdered during the Blood Moon remains a prisoner of the Butcher for eternity. They are also forced to murder other people to satisfy the Butcher’s bloodlust. Does this mean Rory, who was killed during the Blood Moon, will make a murderous return in the season finale?
What about Bomer’s part this season on American Horror Story?
According to Movie Pilot, Bomer confirmed his involvement with Roanoke but has yet to make an appearance. With only one episode remaining, it’s a fair certainty that Bomer will make his highly anticipated return to the series. The biggest question remaining centers on who Bomer will play in the season’s final installment.
Fans originally thought Bomer would play Ambrose White, the Butcher’s real-life son. Unfortunately, we now know that role was taken by Jesse La Flair. More than likely, Bomer will appear as a director with Lana’s team or as a part of Lee’s legal team.
Until more information is revealed, there is no telling who Bomer will play this season. Whatever happens, fans can always hold out hope that he appear as his character from White Collar, Neil Caffrey, or surprise everyone as Ken from the Magic Mike franchise.
Either way, fans will definitely be disappointed if Bomer fails to make a cameo this season. In fact, many fans have already expressed their anger about Bomer’s absence on Twitter, and that disappointment will only increase if Bomer is not included this year.
“I swear to God if Matt Bomer isn’t in the new ahs episode I’m gonna kill something,” one fan wrote.
In addition to Peters and Bomer, there is a good chance that Lady Gaga will re-emerge in the last episode. Gaga’s character, Scathach, made Lee her minion in the last installment after forcing her to eat a pig’s heart.
The strange ritual forever bound Lee to Scathach and opens the door for Gaga’s return. If this happens then there is a chance that Gaga’s character will make Lee kill more people before the season ends.
Meanwhile, there’s no telling what Murphy has planned for the season finale. This year has been filled with so many twists and turns that anything is possible. According to Game N Guide, a leading theory is that Lana might actually write a book about the entire experience and that she is actually the only one who survived it all.
Of course, this is all speculation. Murphy and the cast and crew have done an excellent job keeping things under wraps this season. With little else to go on, fans will have to tune in to find out how American Horror Story: Roanoke ends its unpredictable story.
