Did Tamar Braxton Get Steve Harvey’s Talk Show Canceled?
Tamar Braxton could be replacing Steve Harvey in the talk show game.
According to Deadline, Harvey has decided to end his talk show Steve Harvey after five seasons and more than 500 episodes in May 2017 in order to focus on producing a brand new talk show, which Real 98.7 is speculating could potentially be Harvey’s new venture with Tamar, The Tamar Braxton Show.
The site revealed this week that Steve would be putting an end to Steve Harvey next year in order to team up with NBCUniversal Domestic Television and IMG to create a brand new daily syndicated show, which is currently expected to premiere in September 2017 and will film in Los Angeles, where both Harvey and Braxton live.
While Steve has so far stayed tight-lipped on the details of his new show, many fans have begun to speculate that the show in question is, in fact, Tamar’s upcoming new talk show, which the Braxton Family Values star officially announced during an appearance on Harvey’s radio show back in June, just weeks after she was sensationally fired from The Real.
Steve made the big announcement on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on June 2, confirming following Braxton’s firing, which caused a whole lot of drama between the star and her former co-stars, that he had “just signed Tamar Braxton to produce a talk show, a TV series.”
Tamar got seriously candid about her firing from The Real on Steve’s morning radio show at the time, dishing on her firing and admitting that she actually had not been given a reason for her departure, despite appearing on the first two seasons of the Fox daytime talk show alongside Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Loni Love.
But despite Tamar Braxton throwing a whole lot of shade her co-star’s way in the wake of her firing, Tamar also commented on producing her own talk show with Steve on the morning show earlier this year, claiming that her “future is brighter than ever” in the wake of her The Real firing.
“In this situation,” Tamar continued to Steve amid rumors of a feud with her former The Real co-hosts, “you have to be positive and push yourself to move forward.”
But while Harvey and Braxton are yet to confirm that it’s Tamar’s upcoming talk show that will be replacing Steve Harvey next year, just days before Season 3 of The Real premiered back in September, Braxton dished further details on her upcoming talk show during an appearance at a “New Thinking – New World Saturday” event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Tamar fan @TamarHQ uploaded footage of Tamar making her big talk show confession to social media, where Braxton can be seen telling her fans that her upcoming talk show will be titled The Tamar Braxton Show and will be hitting airwaves in September 2017, which would line up with the schedule put forward by Deadline this week.
“Well, it’s The Tamar Braxton Show,” Tamar revealed during an appearance on the stage alongside her sisters. “It’s next September that it’s supposed to be [premiering].”
Fans have been flocking to social media to voice their excitement for The Tamar Braxton Show ever since Braxton made her big announcement earlier this year, praising Tamar for moving on and launching her own talk show after being fired from The Real back in May.
“@IAmSteveHarvey @TamarBraxtonHer #Tamartians The Tamar Braxton Show is set to air in 2017! Yass! Can’t wait! #TheTamarBraxtonShow,” Twitter user @ChrissysBlog tweeted out after hearing the talk show news, while @?4everjamacaia wrote, “I also will be tuning into The Tamar Braxton Show when it comes on next September.”
Will you be tuning into The Tamar Braxton Show if it replaces Steve Harvey this coming September?
