Criminal Minds male co-stars and former stars Matthew Gubler, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Joe Mantegna, and Adam Rodriguez have a lot of fans. About 12 million to 15 million viewers have watched the show for each of its 11 previous seasons. Now that the show is in Season 12, it is time for fans to pick their favorites.

Matthew Gray Gubler is a handsome younger man from Las Vegas who plays Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. Gubler’s character is super smart and possesses an eidetic memory. Dr. Reid takes a while to get to know. Spence is kind, quiet, and gentle. Matthew though is very outgoing, rather than being an academic prodigy, Gubler is an artistic genius. Matthew Gray Gubler is highly creative in graphics, fine art, drama, and writing. He is also an excellent director.
Thomas Gibson was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. His character on Criminal Minds is Aaron Hotchner. Hotch, as he is affectionately called by other members of the BAU, is an experienced field agent who serves as team leader. Gibson has received a huge outpouring of support from fans since his departure from Criminal Minds. Few actors other than Thomas Gibson have ever seen that kind of love from so many fans.
Shemar Moore is an Oakland, California, native who, according to IMDb, stands six-foot-one. Shemar works out a lot and has an amazing physique. Moore’s character, Derick Morgan, on Criminal Minds is strong, smart, and capable, but he’s also sweet. Agent Morgan has a fascinatingly deep and complex relationship with his co-worker, Penelope, who loves to flirt but doesn’t really mean to sexually harass Agent Morgan. Derick is married, and they are just very good friends. The playful flirting is all in fun. She calls him her Chocolate Thunder, and Shemar Moore’s character calls her Baby Girl.
Joe Mantegna is a veteran actor from Chicago, with over 200 film and TV appearances, according to IMDb. His Criminal Minds character is an experienced profiler who has written books on the subject. Joe Mantegna and his character, David Rossi, are equally kind and lovable. Interestingly, Mantegna is the voice of Fat Tony on The Simpsons.
Adam Rodriguez is a newcomer to Criminal Minds, and it looks like Adam got that big job just in time; according to Entertainment Tonight Adam’s wife is expecting the couple’s second child. Still, Rodriguez’s character, Luke Alvez, is available, although Luke is the type to have little time for romance. Adam Rodriguez’s character is very dedicated to catching all the bad guys.
