‘Days Of Our Lives’: Eric Martsolf Says Brady Black Tested, Finds Comfort With Someone Unexpected On ‘DOOL’ [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans will be saying goodbye to Theresa Donovan this week, portrayed by Jen Lilley. Many viewers are wondering how Brady Black is going to deal with Theresa leaving Salem. Eric Martsolf recently discussed his character and what to expect. The soap opera actor teased that Brady will be tested and will find comfort with someone unexpected.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jen Lilley’s final air date is on November 18. The actress revealed on Instagram that her final weeks in Salem were heartbreaking and she was correct. So far, Days Of Our Lives fans are experiencing a lot of emotions watching Theresa Donovan’s exit storyline. Viewers are also saddened about what Brady Black is going through. What will happen to the character after Theresa leaves? In an interview with She Knows, Eric Martsolf teased being tested and finding comfort with someone new.

Martsolf explained that Brady loved Theresa and had invested so much in her. He also said that they were two broken people who battled addiction and found each other. Not only that, but Brady and Theresa have a son together. The Days Of Our Lives actor could not reveal if Brady relapses after Theresa leaves. However, he did say that his character would be tested.

In a previous interview, Eric Martsolf teased that Brady does not like to be alone for long. When speaking with She Knows, the actor confirmed that, saying that Brady Black will find comfort with another Salem resident. He couldn’t reveal who, but did hint that it is with “someone unexpected.” However, Martsolf also wanted fans to know that for a little while, Brady is inconsolable, angry, and lashes out at others.

“He gives a lot of folks around him a lot of crap and it doesn’t do good things for him and his reputation. But, you’ll just have to wait and see what happens to him.”

When asked about a possible romance between Brady and Nicole, Martsolf explained a little bit about their relationship.

“Nicole and Brady have always been friends with benefits. When you think about it, when she’s in trouble and he’s in trouble, they always find each other for a little while. They love on each other, maybe sleep with each other, you know, they’re just there for each other… in whatever capacity. But, then they’re gone, they come together, then they’re gone, friends with benefits. It would be interesting to maybe see a bit of an investment made in them… you know, for long-term. Will it happen? I don’t know. I know there are a lot of fans out there that like them together.”

Speaking of Jen Lilley leaving Days Of Our Lives, Martsolf made it clear that he misses her already. Since the soap opera tapes six months in advance, the actress has not been on set for quite a while.

“She’s a big loss. She loves her job so much and she’s a little ball of light. She always came prepared and we had some chemistry that was very interesting and the vulnerability she had was so right on her shoulder all the time. And those big eyes of hers, when they would well up, I would just… you can’t help but feel for and root for this girl, this poor girl…”
