Leah Messer Talks Self-Love And Releasing Toxic People After ‘Teen Mom 2’ Reunion

Leah Messer got together with her Teen Mom co-stars this weekend to film the Teen Mom 2 reunion special. Over the past couple of months, Leah has been filming the new season of the show, and it sounds like she’s enjoying her brand new life without any drama from her estranged husband. Messer got divorced from her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, when she was dealing with her anxiety, stress, and depression, but Messer was able to pull herself out of the black hole. Leah even managed to keep custody of her children while she was in rehab for her mental health, even though her first husband tried to gain full custody of their twin girls.

According to a new Instagram post, Leah Messer is now revealing that she’s finding happiness in life these days because she’s learned to love herself again. Maybe Leah had a good discussion with Dr. Drew during the reunion special, as he has been a big supporter of her getting better. Since fans have no idea what this new season is all about, they can only wait and see what will happen when the new season of Teen Mom premieres on MTV.

When Leah Messer was done filming the reunion special, she went on Instagram to post a long quote about her life and her self-love. And it sounds like Messer is all about loving herself these days and releasing any toxicity in her life so she can stay positive. And it sounds like she will cut out anyone who isn’t bringing in positivity to her life.

“The only way to become the greatest version of yourself is through pure self love. When you love yourself, you’re able to set boundaries that foster a positive and nourishing environment that fuels your growth. Release anything that is toxic to your soul. Remember that your thoughts dictate how you feel and how you feel determines the quality of your life,” read a tweet that Leah Messer shared on Instagram after she wrapped up the Teen Mom reunion special with her co-stars Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Jenelle Evans.

“Reach for the best feeling thought on all subjects. If there isn’t a good thought to associate with a subject, allow yourself to let go of it. You cultivate your surroundings by the choices you make and the thoughts you think. What you focus on grows and activates an energy within you. Be true to you and to all that you are. Doing so will put you in alignment with the greatest and most beautiful part of you!” Leah Messer continued in her lengthy Instagram post, sharing that she’s all about self-focus.

Of course, over the past year, she’s been working on herself, and she recently revealed that she had taken a huge leap of faith. Not only did she purchase her own home for herself and her three daughters, but she also decided to go back to school. Over the past few years, Leah Messer hasn’t really worked while filming Teen Mom, but she’s heading back to school now that the show is possibly coming to an end. Kailyn Lowry has hinted that the show could come to an end, and it sounds like she’s ready to face whatever comes her way.
