It is no secret that the pair has been steaming up the ballroom since Week 1, and dating rumors have quietly been lurking with every step these two take. So, what’s actually going on between Jana and Gleb?

Many people know that Jana Kramer split from her husband, Mike Caussin, earlier this year. And, at this time, she is reportedly single. Jana and Gleb have great chemistry, but the truth of the matter is that they aren’t in a relationship — because Gleb is married. His wife, Elena Samodanova, is also a professional dancer. Jana and Gleb have become very close, but they are just friends.

However, dating rumors and affair chatter isn’t too foreign of a concept to Gleb.

Jana Kramer’s DWTS partner was previously on a show called Strictly Come Dancing. According to the Daily Mail, Gleb Savchenko actually ended up quitting the show because he wanted to protect his marriage. Apparently, the show has a curse of sorts that causes break-ups, and Gleb didn’t want any part of that.

“The ‘Strictly’ curse began in 2004 when newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky began an alleged affair with her dancing partner Brendan Cole.”

Dancing can be very romantic, and there is something really sexual about some of the dances performed (like the rumba). It’s hard not to have feelings for the person that you’re sharing an intimate dance with, and that’s why a lot of dancers end up hooking up with each other. While there haven’t been a ton of hook-ups on Dancing with the Stars, there have definitely been some hot moments. And, of course, the rumor mill just doesn’t stop.

Perhaps the most famous twosome to come out of the show is Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd. The two pros are engaged to be married and are expecting a baby boy this winter. On this season of Dancing with the Stars, pros Emma Slater and Sasha Farber became engaged (he proposed on live television). Dance pro Kym Johnson ended up falling in love with her partner on DWTS, Robert Herjavek, and the two got married months later.

Jana Kramer isn’t the only DWTS contestant rumored to be hooking up with a dance pro this season. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, model Amber Rose (Maks’ partner this season) is rumored to be dating Val Chmerkovskiy (Maks’ brother). The two got cozy at Amber’s birthday party — and have posted some sweet photos together — but neither has confirmed (or denied) their supposed relationship.

As far as how Jana Kramer is doing on DWTS aside from the dating rumors, she’s a hop, skip, and a jump away from the finals. Last week, Jana and Gleb connected on a deeper level for their contemporary number. Check out what Jana had to say about it on her blog for People Magazine.

We were assigned a contemporary dance and are telling the story of a woman who is in a really bad situation and it’s messy and she’s lost, but it’s all about getting back to the person she knows she can be and knowing her worth.
