Ben Affleck Desperate To Win Back Jennifer Garner? Actor Carries Goodies For His Wife

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner still haven’t confirmed that they are back together, but they also haven’t made any move to file a divorce. They’ve been keeping fans guessing the real status of their relationship because, despite the breakup, they continue to live on the same property and co-parent their three children — Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.

Last Sunday, the estranged husband and wife were spotted going to church in Los Angeles together with their kids. According to Radar Online, Ben is desperate to win back Jen and he is willing to do anything to fix their broken family. The 44-year-old actor was spotted carrying baked goodies as they walked towards the church. He was a perfect gentleman for doing that which could be a plus point for the former Alias star.

“They seemed to be happy. They were there for their children,” an eyewitness said.

ET Online reported that Affleck and Garner stepped out of the pew to shake hands and say good morning to the people seated beside them in the beginning of the Mass. She was smiling and talking to other people while he was more reserved and quiet. Maybe he was worried about the paparazzi who greeted them when they arrived at the church and even followed him going to the car with Violet until he picked up his wife and two other kids. Despite the Hollywood superstar’s busy schedule, Ben Affleck manages to set some time for Jennifer Garner and their kids. An insider revealed to Radar Online that his non-separation is buying him time so he can implement his plot to win back his wife. The A-lister reportedly felt more encouraged after a successful date night with the brunette beauty in Santa Monica.

“The first part of his strategy was just convincing her to go on a real date with him. Their outing was a huge coup and they had a wonderful evening,” a close pal said. “They’ve stopped fighting and are in a great place where they’re communicating effectively.”

His second strategy is to spend as much time as he can with their three children. Despite the crazy hours at work, he gets huge points for all the daddy time. The Justice League star even managed to bring his family to Europe last summer so he can both work and have a vacation with them.

Ben’s third strategy is to get in better shape because Jen is allegedly getting turned off by his belly area. He reportedly vowed to look way better than he was on his wedding day. His final plan is to get his wife to star in a movie with him. It’s been more than a decade when they last appeared in a film together. The two fell in love on the set of Daredevil in 2003, so maybe this would help bring back the spark in their relationship.

In a no-holds-barred interview with Vanity, Jennifer Garner talked about Ben Affleck’s cheating scandal with their former nanny Christine Ouzounian and how she tried to remain strong and positive despite the controversy. Despite the breakup, the 44-year-old actress still strongly cares for her estranged husband but there are some things he needs to work on to make their marriage work, and he failed.

“He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous,” she said. “He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

Ben Affleck seems to be doing everything to win back Jennifer Garner. Since the Miracles from Heaven actress is more focused on raising their kids together, then that’s what he is probably doing now. During an interview with CBS This Morning, the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice star hinted that he isn’t happy with the current situation, but he still does it out of respect for his wife.

“Life doesn’t always turn out exactly the way you want,” he said. “Each step that we take is one where we prioritize our children, and everything else comes second. She’s just so good at doing that and sets such a good example. And that’s a lead that I follow.”
