Pink Pregnant With Second Child, Announces Pregnancy On Instagram [Photo]

Pop star Pink is pregnant! The singer took to social media on Saturday afternoon to reveal the pleasant surprise that she is expecting baby number two with her husband Carey Hart, and she even shared a photo of her growing baby bump along with her pregnancy announcement.

In the photo posted to her Instagram and Twitter pages, P!nk posed in a very scenic shot. The pregnant “Just Like Fire” singer stood glowing in the grass with trees behind her wearing a long-sleeved, flowing white dress. Pink cradled her big baby bump with her left hand and her daughter, 5-year-old Willow Sage Hart (whom she shares with her motocross star hubby) cradled up close to the right side of her mom.

“Surprise!” the 37-year-old wrote in the caption on Instagram.

The news comes six months after P!nk debunked pregnancy rumors. Back in May, she tweeted a cryptic message that left many fans wondering if Pink was pregnant with baby number two, as previously reported by the Inquisitr.

“I love that every time I find a box of Girl Scout cookies I’m pregnant. Guilty: I’m having a thin mint:),” P!nk mischievously wrote on Twitter at the time.

Shortly after that, her husband Carey indirectly cleared up the speculation on Twitter when he fired back at media reports, slamming the rumor that Pink was pregnant. But now it seems like the rumors about Pink being pregnant were true. Judging by the size of her baby bump on Instagram, she seems to be very far along in her pregnancy.

Pink’s pregnancy announcement doesn’t come as a huge shock to fans who didn’t believe Carey’s message on Twitter, E! News reported. Before P!nk announced she was pregnant, she had been open about wanting to make another addition to her family of three.

During a press tour last spring for her hit song “Just Like Fire” for Disney’s live action film “Alice Through The Looking Glass,” P!nk opened up about wanting to have more children in an interview on Good Morning America.

“I love being a mama,” Pink said. “I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family and that is my absolute number one goal in life.”

“I feel like I have two kids right now,” she laughed, joking about her 41-year-old husband. “I would like a third.”

P!nk and Carey Hart have been a couple for 15 years. The pair first started dating in 2001, but they split up two years later, Us Weekly reported. They got back together and Pink proposed to Carey in 2005, then the couple got married in 2006 during a wedding ceremony in Costa Rica.

But it’s wasn’t all happily ever after for Pink and Carey. They split up again in 2008, but they underwent couples’ therapy and were able to reconcile. They reunited in 2010 and they got pregnant the year after and welcomed their first child together, Willow.

It seems like their rocky relationship history is in their past now, and P!nk opened up about her marriage when she visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show last spring. During the interview, Ellen congratulated Pink on her 10-year wedding anniversary, and Pink was honest about her marriage and her previous breakups with Carey.

“We take breaks,” P!nk told Ellen. “We’ve had two breaks, the first one was about a year and the second one was eleven months.”

Ellen pointed out that the two breaks were before the couple had their first daughter, Willow, together and P!nk joked that they were due for another break. She laughed when she revealed that the last fight they had was because Carey always falls sleep when he puts Willow to bed.

“He’s very very handsome, and he’s sweet,” Pink said seriously. “He’s an incredible dad.”
