Adrienne Bailon Marries Israel Houghton: Did Tamar Braxton Attend Their Wedding?
Tamar Braxton and Adrienne Bailon became fast friends after teaming up to co-host The Real, but was Braxton on hand to celebrate Bailon’s wedding?
People confirmed that Adrienne tied the knot with fiance Israel Houghton in a romantic ceremony in Paris, France, on November 11, but it looks like Tamar was nowhere to be found.
The site confirmed that Adrienne’s co-hosts on the Fox daytime talk show made their way to Europe for the wedding, though it looks like Braxton did not make the trip following her feud that escalated with the ladies in the wake of her firing from The Real back in May.
Adrienne’s The Real co-host Loni Love shared a snap of herself with the twosome’s fellow co-workers Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley, who were celebrating with the newly married Houghtons, on social media. The photo, posted on November 10, showed Love, Jeannie, and Tamera posing with Bailon and Houghton as the bride wore what appeared to be her wedding or rehearsal dinner dress.

Jeannie also took to social media to share media from the wedding, posting a video in front of the Eiffel Tower with Love and her mom, Olivia TuTram Mai, while Tamar also shared a snap, though Braxton did not appear in any of the group’s uploads.
Braxton’s absence from Adrienne’s wedding comes just days after fans of the former best friends questioned whether or not Tamar would actually make the guest list for Bailon’s wedding on social media, as fans speculated whether or not Bailon would extend an invitation to her former co-star despite their feud.
But it now looks like Braxton did not attend Bailon’s big day, and social media users made it known that they weren’t too pleased that Tamar and Adrienne didn’t reconcile and rekindle their once close friendship in time for Adrienne and Israel’s wedding.
“It’s kinda sad to see all of them out in Paris for Adrienne’s wedding & Tamar not be there,” Twitter user @DanceBotDes tweeted of Bailon’s The Real co-hosts heading out to Paris for her wedding without Braxton.
“A year ago Tamar was one of the most important people to Adrienne. Life changes quickly,” the Twitter user @DanceBotDes then continued of Braxton not attending Bailon’s wedding, while @soforreal29 tweeted, “It’s so sad Tamar won’t be able to enjoy Adrienne special day, Tamar and Adrienne truly were best friends.”
Notably, Tamar Braxton did gush over Adrienne Bailon on Israel Houghton on The Real earlier this year, defending her now former friend after their relationship with Israel came under fire before the Braxton Family Values star then became embroiled in a nasty feud with her former co-stars, slamming them on multiple occasions.
“You don’t have to explain your life to anybody. I love you, I know you,” Tamar told Adrienne on The Real in April when discussing Bailon’s relationship with Houghton, prior to her firing and their ensuing feud.
“I know Israel, I love Israel. I know he’s a great guy, and a great dad,” Braxton continued to Adrienne just seven months ago, “and you guys don’t have to explain your relationship to anybody.”
“You guys know what you have, it’s something special, something magical,” Braxton continued at the time. “You’re a wonderful woman.”
However, Tamar has since stayed quiet about Bailon and Houghton’s relationship, including staying radio silent on their romance on social media after the couple announced their engagement in August, though Braxton has certainly made no secret of her feud with her former friends.
Adrienne has mainly stayed quiet on their feud in the months that followed Tamar’s The Real departure, though she did open up about their relationship just weeks ago in a new radio interview.
Bailon told Angie Martinez on her radio show just last month that she “still loves” Braxton despite their drama, but appeared to admit that she’s now moved on from their friendship.
“It’s all so uncomfortable and change sucks,” Bailon replied when asked about Tamar leaving the show under less than mutual terms, “but what I will say is, the four of us even having to go through that, it makes you stronger, it makes your bond stronger.”
“It is what it is,” Bailon then added of where she stands with Braxton now amid their feud. “You’ve got to keep pushing forward.”
Adrienne’s candid confession marked the first time the actress and singer had discussed Braxton since she referred to her as her “sister forever” in a heartfelt Instagram post immediately after it was announced that Tamar had been fired from The Real.
“My SISTER Forever,” Bailon wrote of Tamar on Instagram at the time. “The greatest thing that has come from being on The Real is that I have found my best friend. My vault. My comedian & therapist. I love you. Always & Forever.”
