Robert Pattinson Still Loves Kristen Stewart? Actor Denied Wedding With FKA Twigs
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart seem to have moved on from each other ever since their breakup a few years ago, but there are hints that they are not yet ready to get into a serious relationship. Could they still have feelings for each other?
The 30-year-old actor started dating FKA Twigs in 2014 and is now currently engaged to the 28-year-old English singer. However, it seems that the two won’t be tying the knot soon or a wedding might probably not happen anymore.
During a quick interview with PEOPLE at the 10th Annual GO Campaign Gala in Los Angeles, Pattinson confessed that he felt like he is still too young to prepare for his future when asked about his current mindset and engagement.
“I still feel like I’m 22 … maybe even 14,” he admitted.
Robert was also asked about his wedding with FKA, but he appeared confused and said, “Planning what now?”
The “Two Weeks” singer was seen wearing her engagement ring during her first public appearance with her boyfriend at the 2015 Met Gala. According to E! News, the couple was moving very fast in their relationship and she’ been the one making final decisions on their wedding.
“There is a special connection between the two of them,” a source revealed. “Music is a big part of the relationship, because it means to much to them. They clicked instantly and they literally have been inseparable.”
However, it seems that Pattinson suddenly had a change of heart because there were reports that he called off his wedding with Twigs. According to In Touch, the two were supposed to get married this summer, but he decided to cancel it.
“It’s been a long time coming. They were fighting all the time,” an insider revealed. “Rob felt trapped and the wedding plans were a major drag for the Twilight star.”
Apart from the constant fights, Robert eventually realized that the British singer isn’t the right girl for him. She is allegedly very jealous and the Cosmopolis actor got tired of explaining himself. He also feels that he is too young and just decided that he isn’t ready to settle down.
Maybe Robert Pattinson realized that he still have feelings for Kristen Stewart when they secretly talked back in December 2015. OK! magazine reported that FKA Twigs is not the jealous type, but she was furious when she discovered the name of his fiance’s ex-girlfriend in recent calls list.
“She confronted him about it straight away and he insisted it was just a good-will congratulations call about Kristen being in the Oscar race this year,” their source said. “[FKA] is not happy at all about this and isn’t really satisfied with his explanation.”
“She knows how hung up Robert was on Kristen and how hard it’s been for him to move on, so the fact that he’s gone and done this has totally unsettled her,” their source added.
While Pattinson delays his wedding, Stewart also seems to be having a hard time keeping a relationship. After admitting to the public that she’s in love with her girlfriend Alicia Cargile back in August, the actress sparked breakup rumors when she was spotted with another girl.
K. Stew was spotted kissing Cara Delevigne’s former lover St. Vincent during their romantic dinner date in Manhattan. According to Daily Mail, the new couple spent most of their night leaning towards each other at the table and holding hands which confirms that they are dating. It’s still too early to say if their relationship will last long and the actress hasn’t made an official announcement yet so there’s still a possibility that it is just a rebound.
There have been reports that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are desperately asking for another Twilight movie, which gives them an opportunity to bring back their lost love. According to GameNGuide, the former couple thinks that this is a perfect time to do another sequel to save their career. Twihards will surely be delighted if they see the former lovers appear on the big screen together.
