World War 3: Hillary Clinton Presidency ‘Is A Mushroom Cloud Waiting To Happen,’ Says Jill Stein
Hillary Clinton is likely to start World War 3 with Russia, according to Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.
Clinton is supposedly declaring war on Russia by pushing for an intervention in Syria, and given that the U.S. and Russia are both nuclear powers, a Hillary Clinton presidency “is a mushroom cloud waiting to happen,” Stein warned in a Facebook Live interview.
Stein, 66, is a medical doctor who declared in recent interviews that “politics is the mother of all illnesses” and that’s why she now practices what she calls political medicine. Stein was the Green Party standard-bearer in 2012 and also unsuccessfully ran for governor of Massachusetts in 2002 and 2010.
With a social justice focus on climate change and eradicating poverty, the far-left Green Party is seen as a natural home for at least some of the Bernie Sanders cohort. Dr. Stein has consistently rejected the assumption that for liberals, Hillary Clinton is a lesser of two evils and that a vote for a third party such as the Greens helps Donald Trump.

No fan of the New York real estate mogul and first-time candidate, Stein described Donald Trump as a “wild card” during the Facebook Live interview, but she argued that Hillary Clinton is far more dangerous because she could ignite World War 3.
“Not only in regards to these expanding wars where Hillary has this proven track record…of the most pro-conflict military policy as possible, and she’s calling for a no-fly zone in Syria, which means we’re essentially declaring war on Russia if Hillary gets elected–declaring war on Russia at a time that we have 2,000 nuclear weapons between us and the Russians on hair-trigger alert. This is a mushroom cloud waiting to happen. So,it’s really important right now for us to stand up…”
In an interview with Kennedy on the Fox Business Channel, Stein described both Clinton and Trump as “walking, talking scandal machines” and scolded the “corporate media” for trying to intimidate people into voting for the same-old, same-old as well as refusing to give the Green presidential campaign the coverage that it deserves.
During the campaign, she has repeatedly deemed Hillary Clinton a warmonger and told Kennedy that Libya devolved into an ISIS enclave “almost single-handedly” because of Hillary Clinton’s policies.
Jill Stein also issued a similar warning about World War 3 with Russia.
“And [Clinton] has said that she will lead the charge with a no-fly zone in Syria, and that basically amounts to a declaration of war against Russia, who is there under international law, having been invited by the sitting government. Like it or not, Russia has the sanction of international law to be there. For us to go in and declare a no-fly zone means get ready for war with Russia. Both of us have 2,000 nuclear weapons on hair trigger alert. This is the most dangerous moment— according to the former president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, who, two weeks ago, said this is the most dangerous nuclear moment ever.”
Last week, diehard Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon, the Oscar-winning actress, formally threw her support to Jill Stein in a letter published on the Jill Stein 2016 website and subsequently described the Democratic National Committee as completely corrupt.
In her letter, Sarandon wrote, in part, that “I’m therefore very happy to endorse Jill Stein for the presidency because she does stand for everything I believe in. It’s clear a third party is necessary and viable at this time. And this is the first step in accomplishing this end. Fear of Donald Trump is not enough for me to support Clinton, with her record of corruption…”
