‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 8: Tyler Lockwood Has Info – Damon Salvatore Didn’t Kill Michael Trevino’s Character In ‘TVD’? [Spoilers]

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 is featuring the return of many old faces. Unfortunately, many of them are getting killed. On the last episode, Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) attacked Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino). However, is he really dead? It seems that the character has information that Stefan (Paul Wesley), Alaric (Matt Davis), and the others need. Could this be a clue that he isn’t dead after all?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 4 is titled “An Eternity Of Misery.” The synopsis and an extended promo were released.

“Tasked with finding a mysterious artifact, Damon’s latest mission takes him to Texas where a violent run-in with Peter Maxwell (guest star Joel Gretsch) leads to a surprising revelation. Meanwhile, after gaining the upper hand in their fight to save Damon and Enzo (Michael Malarkey), Stefan and Alaric team up and uncover the origins of the mysterious force they’re up against. Finally, Matt (Zach Roerig) returns to the fray after his past and present collide in an unexpected way.”

Even though the synopsis doesn’t mention Tyler Lockwood, executive producer Julie Plec told Entertainment Weekly some details about Michael Trevino‘s character in The Vampire Diaries.

“Tyler’s return is pretty impactful because we’ve never really explored it on camera, but he’s been working for the Armory, as we learned when he took Elena’s body away. He’s the one that knew where Elena’s coffin was, he’s the one that brought Enzo into the fold against his will in the beginning. So he’s been off doing that.”

The executive producer added that Tyler has information that the others do not. If this is true, then he will probably reappear.

“He’s remained firmly embedded in the supernatural universe. So he’s got information that our heroes don’t have, which is pretty key in the moment when it’s revealed, which is pretty key in the moment when it’s revealed. And there’s a great emotional component to his return that ties into all our characters as well.”

Additional clues that Tyler Lockwood might not be dead comes from Screener TV. The website revealed that Michael Trevino was seen filming episodes for The Vampire Diaries on and off. That indicates he is in more than one scene and perhaps more than one episode.

Hopefully, the information Tyler Lockwood has can help Stefan Salvatore, Alaric Saltzman, Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham), and Caroline Forbes (Candice King) defeat Sybil. A promo clip for Season 8, Episode 4 shows the siren saying she has a sister. The villain also is seen still controlling Damon’s mind even though she has been captured. He is on a mission and his memories have been altered. Instead of remembering Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie, those images have been replaced with the siren. She even tells him that they have to work on removing all of his connections, including eliminating the people that care about him. Sybil seems to want to start with Bonnie Bennett.

Even if they do defeat Sybil, will Damon Salvatore be the same person that he was? Can he be forgiven for everything he has done? Will Damon be able to forgive himself? Fans will just have to keep watching to find out.
