‘Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episode 4: Negan Visits Alexandria, Michonne Takes Aim, Rick Grimes Admits Defeat In ‘TWD’ [Spoilers]

The Walking Dead Season 7, Episode 4 is titled “Service” airs on AMC next Sunday. What can fans expect? The synopsis, a promo video, and two sneak peek clips have been released. They tease that Negan will visit Alexandria, Michonne prepares to take aim, and Rick Grimes admits defeat. There is also a hint that another brutal death could occur.

The last episode of The Walking Dead was set at the Sanctuary, home base of the Saviors. It focused on Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Dwight (Austin Amelio). Next Sunday, viewers will go back to Alexandria to see what Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the others are up to after Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) actions during the Season 7 premiere. In Season 7, Episode 4, the folks at Alexandria will receive an unsettling visit, according to Spoiler TV.

“The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit.”

The Walking Dead Season 7, Episode 4 synopsis does not reveal a whole lot. Luckily, there are a few sneak peeks as well as a promo clip that explains a bit more. The first, which aired during Talking Dead features Michonne (Danai Gurira). At home, she carefully reaches up in the fireplace to retrieve a weapon. Silently placing it in a bag, she quietly leaves through the door. In the background, Rick is seen with a concerned look on his face. Rick and Michonne may have different opinions on how to handle Negan and the Saviors.

The promo clip for the next episode of The Walking Dead shows Negan arriving at Alexandria. His shadow can be seen through the gates as he uses his barbed wire baseball bat, Lucille, to announce his arrival. When the gates are opened, Rick looks around him, surprised by how many of the Saviors have arrived. They all stroll into the community and will probably be taking whatever they want. Then, Rick Grimes tells his group that he is not in charge anymore. Now, Negan is the one calling the shots.

The Walking Dead Season 7, Episode 4 promo clip also shows Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos) cautiously peering from behind a tree. Next, Michonne is seen with her weapon. She is glaring at someone or something and gets ready to fire. Negan can be heard telling someone, probably Rick, that there is no way out of their situation.

However, that is not all. Rick nervously glances over and Negan turns his head with a smile to take a look. Judging by his smile, Negan and the Saviors must have done something else to prove their point. Since this episode is 25 minutes longer, many TWD fans are wondering if someone else will die. The next scenes indicate that is a real possibility. In the promo clip for The Walking Dead, Michonne is looking at the ground and she looks shocked and grief-stricken. The very last scene in the promo clip shows Rick with his eyes wide with shock and fear. It is obvious Negan has done something else to make sure the people at Alexandria know their place.

In addition to the sneak peek and promo clip, there is another video showing what else to expect on The Walking Dead. Rosita and Spencer (Austin Nichols) ask Eugene (Josh McDermitt) to open the gate. He is preoccupied and doesn’t hear them. While Rosita is annoyed, Spencer asks Eugene if he wants to come help them find things for when the Saviors arrive. Eugene says he isn’t up for that and Rosita gives a snarky reply. He explains that he is doing his part to make sure the portable music player works when they come. He adds that he is “dealing with certainties” and plans on giving the Saviors what they want. Suddenly, motorcycles, cars, and what sounds like a big truck can be heard approaching. In the final scene, Negan strolls up to the gates whistling.
