Bindi Irwin’s Relationship Heats Up: All Thanks To A Khaki Outfit

Bindi Irwin couldn’t have been happier when she saw Chandler Powell, her American boyfriend, attending a croc trip in a khaki outfit.

Chandler’s khaki uniform simply confirms that the American wakeboarder has not only accepted Bindi, but also her family. People magazine reports that Bindi and her family have donned the characteristic khaki uniform ever since it was made famous by Steve Irwin, Bindi’s late father and the world-famous wildlife expert.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Bindi Irwin spoke about how impressed she was when she saw her boyfriend embarking on a Queensland crocodile trip in a khaki shirt and shorts.

“It’s this really big thing for me. It was kind of one of those moments that was a real defining moment for me, because you know, it’s only the people who are the closest to us that get their khakis.”

Since childhood, Chandler Powell has been an admirer of the Irwin family, and particularly Steve Irwin’s television show where he was popularly known as “The Crocodile Hunter.” Chandler fell for Steve’s daughter, Bindi, in 2014 when he met her during a visit to Australia Zoo. It seemed completely natural for the American wakeboarder to instantly bond with Bindi Irwin, because both share a great passion for adventure.

Today, Chandler accompanies his busy girlfriend on her wildlife trips, and recently they enjoyed catching wild crocodiles during their visit to the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve in North Queensland. More recently, Chandler appeared at Australia Zoo in the Khaki uniform and, together with his well-known partner, they entertained crowds who loved witnessing the romantic couple playing with dangerous crocodiles at the Crocoseum.

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell have also been photographing their cozy moments together among the wild animals. According to the Daily Mail, Irwin has been very generous in sharing photographs showing the happy couple enjoying their time with giraffes, lemurs, and koalas.

It appears that the young couple is growing very close, even though they’re based poles apart. Chandler is studying at the University of Central Florida, while his girlfriend is based in Australia where she’s helping her mother, Terri Irwin, to manage Australia Zoo. It’s not every day that people get to see love blossoming between two people residing in different countries, however, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s love is quite special, with the pain of separation bringing them even closer together.

The devoted wildlife supporter considers herself lucky to have a boyfriend who travels all the way from the USA to spend time with her. According to People magazine, Bindi Irwin revealed that she’s grateful for all the love showered on her by Chandler.

“How blessed I am to have you in my life. Thank you for everything. Let’s always have adventures together like this. You’re amazing.”

In fact, the young couple enjoyed a special Halloween together this year, carving pumpkins and enjoying their time together.

Apart from managing Australia Zoo, the multitalented actress, writer, and television personality is actively involved in singing, dancing, and TV hosting. Bindi Irwin, born in July 1998, brought her love for adventure to television by hosting Bindi’s Bootcamp back in 2012, her children’s game show in which three teams competed against each other in a wildlife adventure game show.

Bindi Irwin was also the proud and popular winner of Season 21 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, a reality television dance competition. More recently, she regrouped with her own music group, The Jungle Girls, and performed live at Australia Zoo.

Bindi Irwin was recently seen trying her hand at wakeboarding in Australia when she was spotted enjoying a session with Chandler. Chandler makes a point of taking his girlfriend on a wakeboarding date whenever he comes to Australia for a professional wakeboarding competition.
