‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: How Will Theresa Leave Salem?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the upcoming episodes reveal that some major drama is on the way in Salem. While fans are dying to find out what is going to happen with many of their favorite characters, one character is particular will be taking center stage in the coming weeks. Theresa Donovan is set to leave Salem in the very near future, and viewers want to know how and why she’s leaving.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, actress Jen Lilley announced months ago that she was exiting Days of Our Lives at the end of this year. Lilley, who has become a favorite among fans, portrays Theresa Donovan on the soap. While Theresa came to Salem as a bad girl who liked to cause trouble, she met and fell in love with Brady Black, and that changed everything. While Theresa didn’t settle down immediately, the revelation that she and Brady had a son, Tate, changed her outlook on life. Since Tate’s birth, Theresa has been a whole new person, and while trouble seems to follow her, she’s much calmer than she used to be. Sadly, Theresa’s presence will soon be gone from Salem, and it looks like the storyline that will send her off is beginning this week.
The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Theresa’s parents, Kimberly and Shane Donovan, are on their way back to Salem with some bad news for their daughter. Shane will return to his former home to deliver the bad news to Theresa, which will have her reeling. According to reports, Shane will tell his daughter that Matteo, a dangerous man from Theresa’s past, is in Salem, and her life is in danger. While fans don’t yet know what Theresa’s involvement with Matteo was, it does seem that it’s very serious for Shane to be coming to Salem to warn his daughter in person. Shane had been very absent from Theresa’s life, especially in her most recent tragedies. Shane didn’t seem to offer Theresa any comfort or help when her son, Tate, was kidnapped and missing. He also was absent when Theresa’s life was in danger from the escaped convict, Xander. So, why has Shane chosen to show up now? Matteo must be the most dangerous of all Theresa’s enemies.
Could it be possible that Shane wants his daughter to leave Salem to escape Matteo’s clutches? If so, where will she go? It’s possible that Shane could take Theresa home with him, but that seems too boring of an exit for a colorful character such as Theresa. Perhaps Theresa will enter the witness protection program to keep herself safe. If so, it seems that Brady and Tate would go with her during the difficult time. Since Days of Our Lives fans know that Eric Martsolf is staying in the role of Brady Black, that doesn’t make much sense either.
While some fans believe that Theresa might actually be killed off, Jen Lilley has continued to hint that she might be back on DOOL in the future. While characters often come back from the dead on soap operas, other viewers think that Theresa might be kidnapped or suffer an injury that could put her in a coma. The possibilities are endless, and Days of Our Lives fans can’t wait to find out what’s in store for Theresa during her last days on the show. However, one thing is certain. Fans will definitely miss Jen Lilley’s presence in Salem.
