Meghan King Edmonds’ Husband Missing In Action: Skipping The Baby Showers?

Meghan King Edmonds is super excited about her pregnancy as her due date approaches. On last night’s season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan revealed that her due date is at the beginning of December, which means she has just about one month left before her baby girl is born. Over the past couple of days, King Edmonds has been sharing pictures from her baby showers, and she’s had quite a few of them as she has friends and family in both Orange County and St. Louis.

According to a new Radar Online report, Meghan King Edmonds is super excited about becoming a mother, and she has clearly been spoiled by her friends and family members. Her Instagram profile is flooded with pictures of her baby showers, but one person is missing in all of them, and that is her husband, Jimmy Edmonds.

Of course, the husbands are often not a huge part of the baby showers, and it is possible that Meghan King Edmonds just wanted to get her girlfriends together and celebrate her baby girl rather than have a family party. Even though Jimmy is being criticized for not showing up at Meghan’s baby showers, it is possible that he wasn’t even invited.

This weekend, the baby shower was in St. Louis, which is a place where Meghan King Edmonds’ husband is spending a lot of his time. He’s flying back and forth between St. Louis and Orange County, so it would make sense of him to be in town on the day of the baby shower. And just the day before, Meghan posted a picture with her husband at a Halloween party, so it makes sense that he simply wasn’t invited to the baby shower.

His children, on the other hand, did make an effort to show up for the baby shower. His oldest daughter, Lauren, made an effort to show up, but Hayley, who was featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County, didn’t show up. It sounds like Jimmy wants his children to make an effort, but Meghan King Edmonds is alright with them helping out once the baby arrives.

This year brought plenty of drama to The Real Housewives of Orange County, and Meghan isn’t really sure that she wants to bring her daughter into that particular world. She hinted that she could be leaving the show behind. This season, King Edmonds tried to focus on her family history and getting ready for the baby rather than the drama.

“After week two of the Ireland trip, what did y’all think? Of course it had even more drama! Since I was pregnant, I couldn’t participate, and I didn’t feel well for most of the trip, but watching these episodes back, I’m grateful for my baby girl for keeping me in my room away from it all,” Meghan King Edmonds has written in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County.

“The highlight of the trip for me was definitely learning so much about my family’s heritage. If you ever have the chance to meet with a genealogist and tour where your ancestors lived, you should! I learned so much and can’t wait to go back some day with my family and less drama. Looking for my relatives at Greystones was not nearly as easy as I thought it would be, and it actually ended up being totally awkward and forced. Even though I did end up meeting an O’Toole, it was still awkward! I’ve actually met more family members that I didn’t know I had in and around St. Louis,” King Edmonds continued in her blog.
