‘Big Brother 18’ Couples Reunite: Paulie Calafiore & Zakiyah Everette Party With Nicole Franzel & Corey Brooks For Halloween, Zaulie Hits Movie Premiere [Updated]
Big Brother 18 produced several showmances this past summer, and so far, all three pairs remain together in the real world. Viewers went crazy for the combinations of Paulie Calafiore and Zakiyah Everette and Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks in particular, and each of the couples has been sharing a lot of great updates with fans. What’s the latest?
While Natalie Negrotti and James Huling did not spend Halloween together, Paulie Calafiore and Zakiyah Everette did, as did Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks. In fact, “Zaulie” and “Nicorey” were together for a huge Halloween event in Edmonton. By the looks of things, these BB18 pairs had a blast.
Nicole and Corey were out in California together before Halloween, where they attended a bash with fellow Big Brother 18 stars Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo. In addition to reuniting with their BB18 co-stars and getting an early jump on Halloween, they were celebrating Brooks’ birthday.
Nicorey then headed up to Canada to join Paulie and Zakiyah for a Big Brother 18 meet and greet event Monday night. They attended an autograph signing at a second spot in Edmonton on Tuesday and managed to spend some time enjoying other Edmonton attractions while they were there. From the looks of the updates these four posted on social media throughout their trip, everybody had a blast.
After the Edmonton Halloween bash, Zaulie and Nicorey spent a couple of additional days in the area, then both couples headed back to the States. Calafiore and Everette spent a bit more time together in his neck of the woods, hitting up a movie premiere for a flick that happens to star Paulie’s brother Cody Calafiore, another Big Brother alum. Unfortunately, after a bit of time together in New Jersey, Zakiyah needed to head home to North Carolina and she posted on social media that she was already missing her bae.
What comes next for Paulie and Zakiyah, as well as Nicole and Corey? Both BB18 couples face long-distance relationships for now, but they both seem committed to making things work. Calafiore and Everette have been very clear about the fact that they are dating and are head-over-heels for one another.
However, Zakiyah is determined to finish up her master’s degree in North Carolina while Paulie has multiple work commitments that keep him based in New Jersey. For now, Everette and Calafiore will be doing the distance thing, but the Zaulie lovebirds don’t sound worried about keeping their relationship going.
Franzel and Brooks have been a bit vague and coy about the status of their relationship. She currently lives in her hometown of Ubly, Michigan, while he is based in Texas. Nicole spent a fun weekend in Corey’s hometown recently, and the Big Brother 18 stars shared that he’ll be visiting Michigan in early December. In addition, they’ve talked a bit about other upcoming trips they hope to make.
Nicorey has hesitated to answer fan questions about whether or not they’re dating, but their supporters think that it’s quite obvious that they are together romantically. This recent trip to California and Canada, in particular, seemed to answer the questions without saying it in so many words, considering how much fun these two had and how comfortable they were together. In fact, some social media posts from Monday’s event in Edmonton suggest that these two were much less coy when hanging out with fans at the event than they have been via their public social media posts.

What comes next for Nicole and Corey? They seem to be enjoying the way things are right now with multiple trips together planned. Big Brother 18 fans have already been teasing and pushing Franzel to pack up and move to Dallas to be with Brooks, but there haven’t been any commitments made on this front as of yet. At the very least, it certainly appears all three romances that developed over the summer during BB18 have the potential to last and are going strong at this point.
