Brad Pitt Remains Estranged From Kids As Angelina Jolie Faces Claims Of Abuse Threats [Report]
Brad Pitt and his children have spent the last month and a half apart, with just a couple of visits. Now, as an investigation continues against him, his soon-to-be ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, has made headlines for her own alleged threats of abuse.
According to a new report, a former employee of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently spoke out against the 41-year-old actress, claiming she once threatened to beat Pitt “to death.”
“At least one former associate of the couple’s has come forward to reveal that he never witnessed any abusive behavior on [Brad Pitt’s part, but did overhear Angie issuing threats of violence,” the Hollywood Gossip revealed to readers on October 31.
Brad Pitt’s wife filed for divorce on September 19 and requested full physical custody of their six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and Vivienne and Knox, 8.

After Jolie’s filing against Brad Pitt was confirmed, sources told TMZ that the couple’s split was due to tensions over the kids, substance abuse and anger. Sources also suggested that Jolie was upset with Brad Pitt’s parenting and felt his alleged weed and alcohol use, possibly combined with an anger issue, could be dangerous for their children.
In a statement, Jolie’s entertainment attorney told TMZ that she made the decision to file for divorce “for the health of the family.” A short time later, rumors began swirling claiming Brad Pitt was involved in a physical altercation with his oldest son, Maddox, on the family plane.
While the investigation into Brad Pitt’s possible child abuse has continued far longer than anyone had imagined, the Hollywood Gossip’s report revealed Jolie once threatened to “beat [Brad] to death” during a heated argument. That said, the outlet noted that the unnamed man never witnessed Jolie being abusive to Brad Pitt or to any of the children, despite recent rumors regarding an additional investigation.
“Of course, several media outlets have reported in recent weeks that the Department of Child and Family Services investigation into [Brad Pitt]’s behavior has been expanded to include Angelina. It’s unclear, however, if the department is investigating claims against Angelina, or attempting to determine if she was abused by Brad,” the outlet explained.

As the investigation into Brad Pitt’s behavior with his children continues, Jolie has maintained full custody of their kids and is currently living in Malibu, California, as Pitt remains in Hollywood. Although Brad Pitt has seen the children a couple of times, he is not allowed to have them by himself and for the past several weeks, they have been seen only with their mom. Meanwhile, a source insists they aren’t scared of their father.
“Those kids have never been afraid of [Brad Pitt], that’s total BS,” a source close to the actor told Hollywood Life last week. “Yes he and Maddox have been clashing, there have been some blow out arguments, but this is all very normal, most teenage boys and their fathers to go through it. This is not a case of any sort of abuse or of his children being afraid of him, it’s sickening that someone would even say that.”
“[Brad Pitt]’s the most loving and caring father who is fully invested and not any sort of threat. This will get resolved and he will be cleared but this is still horrendous for him,” the source added.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were together for 12 years and married for two.
