‘WWE Monday Night Raw’ Results: Roman Reigns, Jeri-KO, Charlotte & 5 Others Named For ‘Survivor Series’

Still recovering from last night’s Hell in a Cell PPV, the WWE Superstars on the Monday Night Raw roster will be forced to set their differences aside as they prepare to battle the crew from SmackDown Live for brand supremacy at the Survivor Series in less than three weeks. With Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan having already announced Nikki Bella as the captain of their women’s team and The Hype Bros as the first confirmation for their 10-man tag team, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley were set to announce the first members of their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Matches on WWE Raw tonight.

WWE Monday Night Raw Results

The following includes the results of all the matches and segments from WWE Raw on October 31, which aired live from the XL Center in Hartford. Raw has won the “ratings war” ever since the separate rosters were established, although SmackDown Live continues to keep the competition close. Will another appearance by Bill Goldberg and the fall-out from Hell in a Cell — not to mention the build-up towards WWE Survivor Series — be enough to keep the ratings victory streak alive for Raw?

Raw Pre-Show on the WWE Network

Scott Stanford hosted the Raw Pre-Show, and was joined by Booker T and Jerry “The King” Lawler in the studio. Lita was backstage in Hartford, as she interviewed Lana live, who said that Rusev feels fine and that Roman Reigns is a cheater. Later in the show, Lita ran into Cesaro, who confirmed that he and Sheamus would continue to pursue the Raw Tag Team Championship. As usual, Cathy Kelley provided the latest buzz surrounding the WWE Universe and social media.

Goldberg hit Heyman with a Spear and Rusev with a Jackhammer

Monday Night Raw kicked off with Goldberg, who was quickly interrupted by Brock Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman. After he pretended to introduce Brock Lesnar, Heyman was about to be attacked by the former WCW Champion. Rusev, who was still upset over his loss to Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell, got in Goldberg’s face first. Eventually, Goldberg would end the segment by delivering a Jackhammer suplex to the Bulgarian Brute and a brutal Spear to Paul Heyman. Later in the show, an ambulance was shown leaving the arena, the contents of which included an injured Heyman.

Enzo Amore defeated Luke Gallows in a “Trick Or Street Fight”

In a match that was sloppy in more ways than one, the duo of Enzo and Big Cass got a little retribution after putting over Gallows and Anderson at Hell in a Cell. In a call-back to their pre-match promo from the PPV, they came dressed as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. With both Colin Cassady and Karl Anderson getting very involved during the match, it doesn’t look like the feud is over between these two teams just yet.

TJ Perkins defeated WWE Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick by Count Out

After the somewhat controversial win that Brian Kendrick scored over then-champion TJ Perkins at Hell in a Cell, the rematch was set for the next night on Raw. However, after taking a fairly serious blow from Perkins outside the ring, Kendrick decided not to reenter, allowing himself to be counted out. Although he retained his belt, Kendrick suffered a post-match attack from Perkins, who locked in his finisher outside the ring.

Mick Foley named Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns to Team Raw at Survivor Series

Before officially announcing that both members of Jeri-KO were a part of Team Raw on November 20, GM Foley made it clear that he wasn’t impressed with how Kevin Owens retained the WWE Universal Championship — that is, with a major assist from Chris Jericho — at Hell in a Cell. He did admit, however, that he “needed” both of them on the team, which obviously delighted the BFFs. He also informed them that he needed Roman Reigns on the team. After Reigns and Jericho exchanged words in the ring, a title match for the United States Championship was set up as the main event for the evening.

Additionally, the winner of the upcoming Battle Royal would be the fourth member of the team. In a backstage promo, The New Day announced that they had been named the captains of the red brand’s Tag Team Survivor Series Match. For Halloween, they dressed up as Kama, Papa Shango and The Godfather.

Braun Strowman won the Battle Royal and joins Team Raw at Survivor Series

Almost anyone but Strowman would have been an upset victory in this match, aside from Cesaro and Sheamus, who are still playing out their odd couple tag team gimmick. In the end, it looked like Sami Zayn just might pull off the underdog victory, but the power and strength of Strowman was just too much for the former El Generico.

Charlotte, Bayley and Nia Jax are confirmed for Team Raw at Survivor Series

The three-time Women’s Champion Charlotte came to inform the WWE Universe that she was the captain of the Women’s Team for the red brand. She also noted that Bayley was on the team, and that she felt as though Bayley was the weak link. To put her to the test, Charlotte told her she’d be in a match with another one of their teammates, Nia Jax.

Nia Jax defeated Bayley

In what could be the beginning of a legitimate push for Nia Jax, she dominated most of the match against one of WWE’s most adored competitors. During their time working together in NXT, Nia was unsuccessful in her attempts at taking the Women’s Championship from Bayley.

Sheamus and Cesaro defeated The Shining Stars

Proving that they’re still a very competent team in the ring, Cesaro and Sheamus made fairly easy work of The Shining Stars. Of course, they remain competitive with one another as soon as the match ends. Assuming they don’t break up in the next couple of weeks, it seems likely that they’ll be added to Team Raw alongside The New Day at Survivor Series.

Chris Jericho was disqualified against Roman Reigns after Kevin Owens interfered

While it looked like Y2J would win his first United States Championship on several occasions, the Universal Champion got involved when it looked like things were over for Chris Jericho. Seth Rollins made his only appearance of the show when he came to the ring to break up the 2-on-1 beatdown that Jeri-KO were delivering to the US champ. The WWE Universe was chanting for the partial “Shield” reunion as Monday Night Raw went off the air.

The above WWE Raw results will be corroborated by WWE’s official Monday Night Raw page.
