Billy Bush Marriage Troubles Increase After Trump Tape, Bush Returns To Social Media
Billy Bush is still suffering the fallout of the Donald Trump tape that surfaced, showing the two men being disrespectful to women and laughing about it. It seems his wife, Sydney Davis has not yet forgiven him for behavior she allegedly called “creepy.” But in a return this weekend to social media, Bush has found himself surprisingly welcome.
Billy Bush’s move to the Today Show was a big step up from Access Hollywood, and one he was likely not yet ready for, says the Inquisitr. The Donald Trump tape that tanked Bush was only found because Bush was bragging to his new co-workers about it, likely because he was feeling insecure. While Bush thought the tale of his interview with Donald Trump was hilarious, the women at NBC found it misogynistic.

While many of Billy Bush’s fans welcomed his return to social media this weekend, it is being reported that Billy Bush’s wife, Sydney Davis, has yet to forgive him, says PageSix. The “locker room talk” between Billy Bush and Donald Trump is said to have angered Sydney even more than NBC execs. An NBC insider spoke at length about the condition of the Bush marriage.
“Billy Bush’s wife, Sydney Davis, was furious about the tape. Not just because of what was said, but because he was stupid enough to put himself in that position. It wasn’t just the… vile talk, it’s because he insisted the woman hug him and Trump. It was creepy. She was so furious that she refused to speak with him for a while — and she’s still furious. They are having marriage problems. He didn’t apologize to her for the embarrassment he caused in his statement. And she hasn’t released a statement at all.”

Billy Bush made a general apology to his viewers, and anyone offended by his behavior on the Access Hollywood video, but he reportedly did not say he was sorry to his wife, Sydney Davis. The tape surfaced because Bush was bragging in his first days on the Today Show while filming in Rio. After his boastful stories, an NBC employee started digging for the Trump tape, and they struck gold.

The NBC insider says that the only person Billy Bush can blame is himself, and as he has three daughters, he needs to make amends with his family.
“Billy has brought this on himself. He’s blown his big chance at Today, and he doesn’t have his old job at Access to fall back on. He fears his career is over. His wife is angered that he has embarrassed her and their daughters.”
For the Today Show gig, Bush had moved his base of operations to the east coast, but is now trying to sell the home he bought in New York, and moving back to Los Angeles. Billy Bush has started to venture out, but almost exclusively with friends, as his wife Sydney is said not to want to comment publicly at this time.

Over the weekend, Billy Bush dipped his toe in the social media waters, according to Vanity Fair, with a picture he took while hiking with his wife, Sydney Davis. For the most part, the messages to Bush were encouraging.
“This was just a sign that the Today show just wasn’t the right place for you. You will land in a better spot where you belong. Things happen for a reason and good things are yet to come for u.”
But, being social media, some people got to share that they never liked him.
“I’m glad you’re off the air. I never liked your arrogance and entitled smugness. I hope you search your soul and become a better person.”
Billy Bush and NBC reached a settlement, and for now, he is not working in television.
