The Best And Worst Halloween Costumes Featured On ‘The Talk,’ ‘The View,’ ‘Live With Kelly’ And Others
Who says that dressing up in costumes for Halloween is just for kids? Not network morning TV. Cast and celebrities on the morning shows Today, Good Morning America, The Talk, The View and Live with Kelly pulled out all of the stops for another Halloween to remember even if some of those participating would rather forget.
Though only in a competition for ratings, CBS’ The Talk probably would have come out on top for the costume contest. For their second year, the talk show’s stars dressed up as music stars and competed for their “Rocktober” lip sync battle hosted by L.L. Cool J. Sharon Osbourne dazzled as Marilyn Monroe performing “Diamonds are a Girls’s Best Friend.” Even her husband Ozzie showed up to watch her perform. Sheryl Underwood performed as Little Richard, Sara Gilbert strutted around like Cher, Aisha Tyler was almost unrecognizable as Lionel Richie and Julie Chen performed “Vogue” as Madonna as Marie Antoinette.

Al Roker dressed up in a costume as Steve Urkel (from Family Matters), Matt Lauer was Jerry Seinfeld wearing the puffy shirt and was interviewed by the real Bryant Gumbel, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Hoda Kotb were a smash as Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford (the real Regis showed up as well), Jenna Bush Hager dressed up as her grandmother Barbara Bush, and Savannath Guthrie had it probably the easiest as she portrayed Demi Moore on a fake Vanity Fair magazine cover.
Last year, the cast of ABC’s The View costumes were of Disney characters. This Halloween they went with a cartoon theme with Whoopi Golberg playing Marge Simpson (from The Simpsons), Sunny Hostin as Dora (from Dora the Explorer), Jedediah Bila as Betty Boop, Joy Behar as… Joy (from the movie Inside Out), Candace Cameron Bure as Tinker Bell (from Peter Pan) Paula Faris as My Pretty Pony, Sara Haines as Smurfette (from The Smurfs) and Raven-Symone came dress as Eric Cartman (from South Park).
There were two sets of Joker/Harley Quinn couples in costume on ABC this morning. Dancing with the Stars‘ pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd visited the set of Good Morning America all glammed out while co-host Jerry O’Connell joined Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly as the clowning duo.
