Chris Brown’s Daughter, Royalty Brown, Dresses Up As Selena For Halloween 2016 [Photos]
Chris Brown may have opted not to dress up for this year’s Halloween festivities, but it appears that the singer isn’t shy when it comes to sharing adorable photos of his 2-year-old daughter, Royalty Brown, dressed as her idol, singer Selena Quintanilla, for her Halloween costume this year via Instagram on October 29.
Despite Chris Brown’s attendance at Maxim‘s Halloween bash earlier this week, the “Everybody” singer has yet to show off his Halloween costume to fans via social media; however, the singer wasted no time in sharing an adorable collage of photos of his daughter, Royalty, with whom he shares with baby mom Nia Guzman, dressed as the legendary Selena Quintanilla to Instagram on Saturday. In his post, Brown uploaded two photos of the “Dreaming of You” singer alongside one photo of daughter Royalty donning a sparkly purple cut-out leotard and black wig to complete her Selena-inspired look. Also, several fans pointed out that Royalty even appeared to be donning one of the various M.A.C. cosmetic lipsticks from their recent Selena Quintanilla Collection in the photo, further perfecting the toddler’s adorable Halloween getup.
In addition, Chris Brown’s baby momma, Nia Guzman, took to her personal Twitter account to share additional photos of Royalty dressed up as Selena as her Halloween inspiration for this year’s festivities, even captioning one photo of toddler with lyrics from Selena’s hit track, “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” with the message, “Miss Bidi Bidi Bom Bom *heart emoji* *dancing emoji*.”

It’s no surprise that Chris Brown’s daughter would opt for a Selena-inspired costume for Halloween 2016; earlier this year, Nia Guzman gushed over the 2-year-old’s obsession with the legendary singer during an interview with Latina magazine, telling the site that Royalty “already has a special place in her heart” for Selena thanks to the 1997 film created in order to honor the late songstress.
“Yes, she loves it!” Nia Guzman explained to the site. “She doesn’t say, ‘Selena,’ but she’ll say, ‘Ena, Ena, Ena?'” Similarly, when asked which Selena song is currently Royalty’s favorite, Nia revealed that “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” is an all-time favorite for the toddler, albeit noting that “she doesn’t have her cumbia down just yet.”

Also, Nia also revealed that she is teaching daughter Royalty about Latino culture and the Spanish language, admitting, “[Royalty] knows ‘hand,’ ‘food,’ [and] ‘head,'” before admitting, “We pretty much have a Mexican household. I really don’t have to do anything that I normally wouldn’t do for her to get it down.”
While both Brown and Guzman are no strangers to gushing over daughter Royalty on their various social media accounts, the duo previously made headlines earlier this year after battling it out via Instagram over their current custody agreement for the toddler, with Guzman reportedly seeking an increase in child support payments from Chris Brown given the family’s recent move to Los Angeles in order for Royalty to be closer to her father.
Speaking to Latina regarding her current relationship with Brown, Nia Guzman previously revealed to the publication that while daughter Royalty “adores” Brown and that the duo has “a very intimate and beautiful relationship,” things aren’t quite as peaceful between herself and the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer.

“I’m doing all I can to co-parent and make sure Royalty will never see any negativity me and him have,” Chris Brown’s baby momma reveals. “No matter what issues [Brown and I] have, I will always be 100 percent for him to be there and be hands-on.”
