‘RHOC’ Cast Shakeup: Vicki Gunvalson Wants Everyone But Kelly Dodd Gone, Who Is In And Who Is Out For Season 12?
Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Orange County is winding down and producers are already figuring out which cast members they will bring back next season.
And the “OG of the OC,” Vicki Gunvalson, is all too willing to share her opinion about who should be on board for Season 12.
Who is in and who is out for the ladies of Orange County?
Radar Online reports that this season’s drama has placed the cast members at odds with each other.
Along with Gunvalson, this season includes Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Meghan King Edmonds and Kelly Dodd.
The women tried to make amends for everything that went down last year with Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers. Things took a turn for the worse, however, during the recent getaway to Ireland.
While some of the ladies accused Gunvalson of spreading rumors, Dodd got into a fight with just about everyone.
Things got so bad that Judge almost punched Dodd in the face during one of her drunken tirades. Given the amount of drama Gunvalson and Dodd have brought to the table this season, they are not leaving the show anytime soon.
“Kelly is not going anywhere and she has already been asked back for next season,” a source dished. “However, she has not yet decided if she is going to return.”
According to The Hollywood Gossip, producers were practically forced to bring Dodd back next season. Not only does she bring a lot of drama to the show, but she’s also Gunvalson’s last remaining friend. Without Dodd, Gunvalson would be all alone.
And they couldn’t give Gunvalson the ax because she too brings a lot of drama to the series.
The same can’t be said for other members of the RHOC crew.
Because her fight with Dodd allegedly turned physical, things aren’t looking good for Judge.
“Tamra hitting Kelly may have cost her the contract,” the insider added. “Everyone knows that you can’t hit another housewife!”
Judge’s exit wouldn’t be a major hit for the reality show.
It’s true that Judge has been a part of the RHOC for many years, but she hasn’t generated a lot of drama over the past few seasons.
Judge also gets paid a hefty amount year in and year out, so cutting her would free up some space for a new cast member.
If it was up to Vicki Gunvalson, as Inquisitr has previously reported, she would fire both Judge and Shannon Beador.
“You don’t need Tamra or Shannon… they are toxic people!” one fan shared on social media. “Hopefully you’ll have better castmates on Season 12 #RHOC.”
“I hope so!” Gunvalson replied.
Gunvalson has made a lot of enemies this season.
Indeed, Buddy TV revealed that if it were up to Gunvalson, she would fire everybody.
While Judge and Beador forgave Gunvalson for her cancer lies last season, they recently accused her of spreading rumors about their personal lives to Dodd. In particular, Judge claims that Gunvalson said bad things about her husband Eddie.
Apparently, Gunvalson said that Eddie was probably gay and that he cheated on Judge in the past.
Things got so ugly between the ladies that Beador admitted she never wants to see Gunvalson again.
“We’re not in a good place,” Beador explained. “I really don’t care if I ever see her again.”
Of course, Gunvalson refuses to admit that she said anything bad about Judge’s marriage.
Even if the rumors are true, fans have come to Gunvalson’s defense.
“Everyone, not just Vicki Gunvalson & the other girls, me included, has told rumors about someone they’ve heard,” one fan shared. “We aren’t perfect #RHOC.”
Gunvalson replied by saying, “Right on.”
Other fans weren’t so willing to forgive Gunvalson.
“Yes but the difference is they are saying this on a TV show where everybody can see & judge!!,” a fan wrote. While another added, “You know what I was talking about. She was INVOLVED with a cancer scam #nextyourself.”
Regardless of what Gunvalson has done and said over the years, her ability to drum up drama is why producers keep bringing her back.
Meanwhile, Blasting News is reporting that Edmonds is sick and tired of the RHOC drama.
An inside source revealed that Edmonds and her husband, Jim, are planning on moving back to St. Louis and will not return to RHOC next season.
It isn’t clear why Edmonds is moving, though her husband’s career in baseball might have something to do with the move.
Edmonds’ storyline this season has revolved around her pregnancy, which hasn’t brought a lot of drama to the show. She has, however, delivered plenty of drama when it comes to her co-stars and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Edmonds has not said anything about her exit, but her departure will definitely leave producers scrambling for a replacement. Bravo has yet to confirm any of the casting changes for next season.
Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights on Bravo.
