WWE Rumors: Kevin Owens’ Wife Deleted Instagram Account Due To Fan Bullying

Fandom is a scary thing because some fans can’t seem to separate reality from fiction. There have been death threats against actors on television shows for what their characters have done and against athletes for making mistakes in games. It seems almost worse in the WWE where the athletes portray their characters as if they are real.

That has seemed to happen to Kevin Owens, the current WWE Universal Champion. Of course, Owens portrays an arrogant heel in the WWE and is one of the most hated wrestlers on the roster. However, in real life, he is a loving husband and father. His son is living the life of someone who gets to see his father playing a hugely famous wrestler in the WWE and Kevin Owens’ wife often shared their son’s enthusiasm on her Instagram account in the form of videos.

411mania reported that fans won’t get to see these fun videos anymore because there are other fans who decided to start bullying Kevin Owens’ wife online through her Instagram account. Karina Steen has since deleted her Instagram account, allegedly due to the online bullying.

Probably the best moment that was posted by Steen was when Kevin Owens made his WWE debut. His son knew that his father was making his WWE Monday Night Raw debut that night, but Kevin Owens kept his plans a secret to allow his son to enjoy it as it happened.

Kevin Owens’ son has a favorite wrestler and that wrestler is John Cena. For his WWE main roster debut, Kevin Owens came out to answer the John Cena United States championship challenge and then proceeded to get the better of Cena and dropped him with the powerbomb.

The pure joy that Kevin Owens’ son gave when he saw his father was making his debut to challenge John Cena was enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Of course, when someone is a villain in professional wrestling, it is easy to see fans refuse to accept that the person is an actual human being off the cameras.

That happened later this year when a new video was released on the Instagram account of Kevin Owens’ wife. This time, it was in response to Kevin Owens winning the WWE Universal Championship. Once again, because he wanted to make the night special for his son, he didn’t tell him that he was winning the title.

After Kevin Owens won the title, his son was honestly happy and enthused that his dad had finally achieved a dream and made it to the top of the WWE. However, it wasn’t a fan who took the first shot here. Cageside Seats reported that it was an ESPN radio announcer. When someone mentioned how overwhelmed Kevin Owens’ son was, ESPN NBA analyst Amin Elhassan made fun of him by saying wrestling is “scripted.”

That was a huge blowup online and Elhassan kept making fun of Kevin Owens’ son. Someone must have said something because Elhassan eventually apologized for his comments. However, from the sound of it, there were a lot of people who have been making fun of Kevin Owens and his family through the Instagram comment section of his wife’s account and she has now deleted it.

It is unfortunate when low-class fans resort to bullying anyone and it is even more disgusting when they turn their attention to the wife and young son of a WWE superstar. If it was indeed WWE fans who caused Kevin Owens’ wife to leave Instagram, one would hope she knows there are many other fans out there who loved her videos and are nothing like the online bullies that chased her off.
