Bethenny Frankel’s net worth just took a nice jump when she won a battle with ex-husband Jason Hoppy in divorce court. The Real Housewives of New York star has been battling her ex-husband for years when it comes to the settlement of their divorce, and Bethenny won a big battle this week when it comes to a home that they lived in.

Radar Online reported that Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy lived in a $5 million luxury home in New York City, and the RHONY star actually took out a $2.3 million loan on the home in 2011. Bethenny claimed in the divorce battle that she wanted to be the sole owner, and Hoppy claimed that Frankel was not the only person who owned the home.

The two were forced to come to a settlement in September and that actually came to pass. Bethenny Frankel’s net worth then took the $2 million jump when the home was transferred into her name only, and Hoppy can never claim any interest in the house in the future.

This is just one of many battles between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy over the last four years that they have made court appearances in their divorce case. This is all in spite of there actually being a prenuptial agreement in place that should have settled all this ahead of time.

The only real battle between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy should have come with their child, Bryn, who is now 6-years-old. The two worked out a settlement concerning custody in 2014 for the child.

However, thanks to Bethenny Frankel’s net worth, Hoppy was fighting hard to get more than Bethenny felt he deserved. The big arguments were over who owned what since the two married in 2010, despite that marriage only lasting three years and much of her net worth was from her RHONY role and products that she created that had nothing to do with Hoppy.

According to Hollywood Take, Bethenny Frankel’s net worth was around $25 million for her RHONY fame as well as her Skinnygirl products. Hoppy wanted part of the Skinnygirl money as well as the home in New York City. Hoppy himself has a net worth of $5 million.

The problem with what he was demanding started with the Skinnygirl empire that Bethenny created, thanks to her RHONY fame. Bethenny Frankel wrote her book, Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting in 2009, a year before Frankel even married Hoppy.
