Donald Trump Bangtan Boys (BTS) Tweet Is Hilarious — And Fake!
Donald Trump’s alleged Bangtan Boys fanboying on Twitter recently went viral among K-pop fans. As Koreaboo reports, it all stemmed from one “tweet” that looks like it was sent from the Republican presidential candidate’s Twitter account on August 3.
The supposed Donald Trump tweet says, “Just listened to ‘Fire’ by Bangtan Boys. Amazing! Love the Chinese.” The tweet is written in Trump’s signature style and is hilariously politically incorrect. So, it’s no wonder that some media outlets thought that the tweet really came from The Donald himself. However, it did not.
How can you be sure it’s fake?
Well, as Koreaboo notes, Donald Trump has become known for never deleting his tweets, no matter how much backlash he gets for them. On August 3, the date of the alleged tweet about The Bangtan Boys, Donald Trump tweeted the following:
There is great unity in my campaign, perhaps greater than ever before. I want to thank everyone for your tremendous support. Beat Crooked H!

There’s no mention of the Bangtan Boys among Donald Trump’s tweets on that day which strongly indicates that the tweet is indeed a fake. But it’s still very clever.
There’s no word yet on whether the BTS members, Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, have heard about the hoopla surrounding this supposed “Donald Trump Bangtan boys” tweet.
The band is probably too busy with all of the success it’s having so far this year.

As Yibada reports, the Bangtan Boys are riding a huge wave of success right now since the release of their comeback album, Wings.
According to Yibada, the album is breaking records on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. It’s been on that chart for the last two weeks which is a true first-time accomplishment for a K-pop band. Though BTS’s Wings dropped from 26 to 102 from the first week to the second, the fact that it’s still on the chart is still an impressive feat. Similar bands like EXO and 2NE1 have not touched that milestone yet on the Billboard 200.

“Blood, Sweat & Tears,” BTS’s lead single off of Wings, is also doing well, according to Yibada. The song is currently on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 chart and has been described as a “Hot Shot Release.”
BTS’s talent agency, Big Hit Entertainment, has since publicly congratulated the K-pop idols on the success of their new album.
“Entering the chart requires a large, established fandom on top of favorable reviews about their music,” the agency said via a written press statement.
BTS is a seven-member K-pop boy band that was formed in 2013.
