WWE News: Artwork For ‘WrestleMania 33’ Features Injured Superstar And The Focus Is On A Superstar The Fans Will Hate

Even though the next big event is Hell in a Cell on Sunday with Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and other events mixed in, the world is still looking ahead to WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. No one quite knows what matches will take place or who is going to be in the main event, but the posters and artwork always seem to play off of that. Well, the first artwork for the big event in 2017 has been released and it shows some very interesting faces.

Let’s just say that a popular superstar who has been injured is featured.

WrestleMania 33 is going to take place in Orlando on April 2, 2017, but travel packages are set to go on sale this Monday, according to WrestleZone. With that announcement being made, the first artwork has been released for the huge pay-per-view (PPV), and it’s quite interesting.

As you can see, the new artwork has some expected faces such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles is on there as is the current WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, but no belts are shown.

On the far end is Finn Balor, who is currently out due to an injury he suffered at SummerSlam in a match against Seth Rollins. In that match, Balor won the first ever WWE Universal Championship which was set to keep him out four to six months. As of now, there is no set date for his comeback.

The other notable face on the WrestleMania 33 artwork is Roman Reigns who is the current United States champion. He is front and center for the whole world to focus on and it may be needless to say, but a lot of fans were not overly thrilled.

Maybe it means something that Roman Reigns is in the center and maybe it’s just some early promotional work that means absolutely nothing. Anything could happen in the WWE’s storylines over the next five months, but it is interesting to see.

The Roman Reigns experiment is one that WWE has been working on for about three years now and fans have resented him at times for it. Still, if there’s an idea in the head of Vince McMahon and Triple H, it’s going to go through, no matter what.

Fans have to be prepared for anything and everything at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, and the official website of WWE is giving them that chance. It was announced on Thursday that the ticket packages will go on sale this Monday, Oct. 31, and there are a lot of different options for those attending the big event.

For anyone that just wants to get tickets to the show, they will officially go on sale on Friday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. ET. The travel packages going on sale on Halloween will include tickets.

It’s going to be an interesting few months in WWE and this promotional artwork for WrestleMania 33 could end up being very telling. One good thing is that fresh faces like AJ Styles and Sasha Banks are included and being given the spotlight as well.

WrestleMania 33 is going to blow the roof off of things in Orlando even though there isn’t one on the Citrus Bowl. As of this point, WWE may have some things planned but they certainly won’t let the public know for a number of months. Maybe this artwork is telling us something but then again, maybe it’s just promotional material. Still, if Roman Reigns ends up in the main event again, the fan base may truly revolt.
