Is Drake Dating Nicki Minaj After Splitting With Rihanna? What About Meek Mill?

Drake and Rihanna only called it quits earlier this month, but has the rapper already moved on to Nicki Minaj?

Sources have been claiming for weeks since Drake’s breakup with Rihanna that the “Hotline Bling” rapper is looking to start dating Nicki, though it sounds like Minaj isn’t ready to get into the dating game with Drake anytime soon.

“[Nicki’s] the epitome of everything he wants in a woman,” a source recently told Hollywood Life of Drake’s feelings for Nicki, claiming that, after years of gushing about Minaj, Drake is “infatuated with her.”

But while reports are alleging that Drake is ready to start dating Nicki following his breakup, it looks like Minaj has no plans to break up with Meek and fall into Drake’s arms anytime soon.

Nicki was noticeably absent from Drake’s 30th birthday party in Hollywood on October 24, and sources confirmed that her decision to skip the event amid the dating rumors was all down to boyfriend Meek Mill, who’s long been locked in a pretty nasty feud with Drake.

A source alleged to the site that Minaj did receive an invite to Drake’s big party but reportedly purposefully declined the rapper’s invitation to appease Meek, who’s she’s rumored to have been dating for the past two years.

According to the insider, after years of feuding between Drake and Mill, Drake extending an invitation to his birthday party to Nicki made Meek “furious,” which is why Minaj allegedly skipped out on the celebration attended by a slew of huge names, including Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

“They had a fight about it,” a source alleged to the site of the Minaj and Mill’s drama that surrounded Drake’s birthday party. “In the end, though, she didn’t want to hurt Meek’s feelings — nor did she want to disrespect him by partying with Drake and being all touchy-feely with him — so she didn’t go.”

Nicki Minaj skipping out on Drake’s celebrations also came just days after Hollywood Life claimed that Minaj has no plans to get romantic with Drake anytime soon, despite the swirling dating rumors surrounding the two rappers.

According to an insider, Drake has been asking Nicki to head back into the studio with him in recent weeks to work on more tracks like “Moment 4 Life,” though Minaj has been making it clear that she has no plans to collaborate with the rapper outside of the studio.

“Nicki loves Drake,” an insider confirmed, adding that “they will make more music together in the future and they are tight” but will not be dating anytime soon.

“[Nicki’s] not ready to get down on an intimate level. Not now anyway,” the source continued of rumors suggesting that Drake and Minaj could find themselves dating now Drake is once again single after his breakup with Rihanna.

“For one, she’s with Meek Mill and even though they have problems, they’re good,” the insider added, confirming that Nicki and Meek are still very much together despite the recent breakup reports that have surrounding the couple after Mill seemingly slammed Nicki on social media amid the Drake dating rumors.

But it sounds like even if Nicki did find herself single in the not too distant future, Drake still wouldn’t be at the top of the “Pound The Alarm” singer’s dating list, despite his constant gushes.

Hollywood Life claimed that Minaj has seen how Drake’s past romances with his exes have turned out, and knows that dating Drake doesn’t usually end too well.

“[Nicki] seen the aftermath of his destruction,” a source revealed of Minaj’s thoughts on dating Drake, “and she doesn’t want all the heartbreak and tears.”
