Kylie Jenner is allegedly looking to land her own reality series spinoff while Keeping Up with the Kardashians remains on hiatus, and Kylie’s ambitious plans could be causing tension between the reality star and big sister Kim Kardashian.
According to reports, while Keeping Up with the Kardashians cameras are still in hibernation following Kardashian’s scary Paris robbery on October 2, Jenner is now making it clear that she’s looking to land her own spinoff show with boyfriend Tyga amid claims there could be bad blood brewing between Kylie and Kim.
Radar Online is reporting that Jenner has been pushing the idea of her own show to mom Kris Jenner, and supposedly knows that if she’s successful in landing her own reality series with her rapper boyfriend, her triumph would have “the added bonus of knocking Kim off her pedestal,” suggesting there could be a feud brewing between the sisters.
“[Kylie] insists it’s the logical move and only right,” a source revealed to the site of Kylie’s big spinoff plans, “since she has the largest fan following of the family.”
The Kardashian insider also claimed that Jenner is now in the process of pushing her spinoff idea to mom Kris and producers at E!, but alleged that a Kylie reality show is “99 percent certain to happen.”
The reports come just days after it was revealed that Kim is allegedly considering quitting Keeping Up with the Kardashians after her robbery in Paris, which saw Kardashian tied up and robbed of more than $10 million worth of jewelry, over fears for her safety.
While Kim is yet to speak out about her ordeal or her future with the E! series, Hollywood Life alleged that “Kim is not ready to return to the show and discuss what happened in Paris,” just yet, adding that “it’s way too soon” for Kardashian to return to reality TV, suggesting the popular E! reality series could potentially remain on hiatus for a while.
“She’s still healing and that’s going to take a long time,” the Kardashian insider added of Kim.
It’s not clear if Kylie Jenner’s alleged plans for a Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff is causing a potential feud between herself and sister Kim Kardashian, though Jenner has made it pretty clear over the past few weeks that she has no plans to follow Kardashian’s lead when it comes to toning down her glamorous image.
After TMZ reported in the days that followed Kim’s robbery that Kardashian is now vowing not to flaunt her wealth on social media so blatantly, Hollywood Life revealed that Kylie and boyfriend Tyga are making no such vow , which could bring in extra attention to a potential upcoming Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff starring Jenner and Tyga.
“Tyga and Kylie are going to keep on doing them,” a source told the site, claiming that neither Jenner nor Tyga will stop flaunting their wealth and glamorous lives on social media.
“They’re absolutely pissed about what happened to Kim but in no way are they going to let that stop them from promoting their images,” continued the insider of Jenner and the rapper.
“Kylie has every right to flaunt her jewelry, cars, house, the works,” the source added of Jenner’s tendency to flaunt her wealth. “[Kylie’s] worked hard for all her bling and material possessions and if that’s what makes her happy, then so be it.”
The Telegraph reported that Kylie was also slammed for being “insensitive” following Kardashian’s robbery after becoming the first of the Kardashian and Jenner clan to post an image to social media in the days that followed Kim’s robbery.
Kylie broke the Kardashian and Jenner social media blackout by posting a snap of herself flaunting her curves in a red thong swimsuit, which Kylie’s fans were quick claim was “insensitive” to Kim following her Paris Fashion Week ordeal.
Do you think Kylie Jenner could land her own reality show spinoff during Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ hiatus?
