Tamera Mowry-Housley Dishes On Tamar Braxton Feud, ‘I Don’t Hear From Her’ [Video]

Tamar Braxton has made no secret of the fact that she’s no longer on friendly terms with her former The Real co-stars after being fired from the daytime talk show earlier this year, and now Tamera Mowry-Housley is dishing on the feud that preceded her departure.

Tamera spoke out about Tamar in a new interview with Essence Live, where she dished on their feud and admitted that Braxton actually asked all four of her former co-hosts, including Tamera, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon, not to speak about her in the wake of her firing.

Mowry-Housley got seriously candid when asked about the current state of her and Braxton’s relationship in the interview, admitting that despite the twosome once being close, she no longer speaks to Tamar following the drama that boiled over after Braxton was let go from the series.

“I don’t hear from her, I think she’s doing her own thing,” Tamera said of Tamar, who she referred to as her “friend” and “sister” in the interview before telling the site that it was actually Braxton’s request that none of The Real ladies discuss her or her firing in public.

“It was [Tamar’s] wish for us not to talk about her anymore, that was her wish,” Mowry-Housley continued of Braxton while discussing their feud with Essence Live, adding, “But, if I know Tamar like I used to know her, she’s not even worrying about it.”

Despite Braxton making it pretty clear on several occasions that she was locked in a nasty feud with her former The Real co-stars, Tamera appeared to downplay the bad blood in the interview, admitting that Tamar has now moved on “to bigger and better things” in the wake of her firing, which includes her own talk show produced by Steve Harvey.

“As long as she is happy and she is thriving and she’s being that Tamar I knew her to be, I wish her much love and much success,” said Tamera. “I know I can speak for the girls, we wish her the best.”

Tamera’s big Tamar confessions marks one of the first times Mowry-Housley has explicitly mentioned Braxton and her firing ever since Tamar was let go back in May, and her confessions appeared to cause quite a stir online.

A number of social media users took to Twitter to comment on Tamera Mowry-Housley’s Tamar Braxton remarks, praising the former Sister, Sister actress for taking the high road when it comes to her and Braxton’s feud.

“[It] actually makes me sad to know Tamar and Tamera don’t talk anymore [though], I loved their relationship,” Tamar fan @tamartian_xo tweeted out, while @TamarVinceShow wrote, “Tamera’s eyes as she was speaking looked like she really meant it.”

Tamar is yet to acknowledge Tamera’s remarks about their feud, though Braxton has spoken out about their drama numerous times in the past.

Back in August, Tamar took serious aim at Adrienne, Loni, Tamera and Jeannie in a slew of now deleted tweets, calling out her former co-stars and accusing them of using her name for publicity.

BET revealed back in August that Tamar took serious aim at Tamera in the weeks that followed her firing, slamming her former The Real co-host on Twitter after Mowry-Housley stated in a Periscope chat with fans that she and Braxton were actually still on friendly terms.

However, Tamar disputed Mowry-Housley’s story, confirming in a slew of now deleted tweets that she and Tamera were no longer on speaking terms and were actually locked in what appeared to be a pretty nasty feud.

“I wish that I would stop being brought up since I was so BAD,” Tamar tweeted of her drama with the former The Real co-stars following Tamera’s confessions on August 7. “No shade… but don’t believe the hype! I haven’t spoken to [anyone]… real friends don’t need press.”

Braxton then continued to take aim at Tamera and fellow The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon after a fan asked about the feud she alluded to, despite both attending her son Logan’s birthday party just weeks earlier.

“Baby, they came took [pics] and left,” Braxton replied after a fan quizzed the Braxton Family Values star on the feud according to a screen shot captured by The Shade Room. “You’ve heard of let me save my a** right?”
