‘DWTS’ Amber Rose Dating Val Chmerkovskiy? Rumors Strike After Birthday Celebration

Although she was eliminated on Dancing with the Stars, Amber Rose is still associated with the show — and may even be associated with the pro-dancers on said show. Well, one in particular, anyway!

A few new Instagram posts have sparked rumors that Amber Rose is romantically involved with someone she met on DWTS, someone very close to her (former) partner, Maks. The photo was posted by Maks’ brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, and immediately had fans wondering if the two were an item. Val posted the pic in honor of Amber’s birthday — she turned 33 on Friday.

Amber Rose celebrated her special day with a star-studded bash over the weekend. Not only was Val in attendance, but so was Maks. However, the photos that Amber and Val posted of themselves suggested that the two had become very close over the past few weeks of DWTS competition. This is fairly interesting since the two weren’t dance partners. However, the show is known to bond all of its stars, and many people become close friends even if they aren’t working together on a daily basis. DWTS has been referred to as a “family” by many — stars and pros alike. Everyone spends so much time rehearsing that they all end up bonding, even if they aren’t sharing the dancefloor for the same number.

It’s just that the captions on these Instagram posts have people wondering if Amber Rose and Val Chmerkovskiy are dating. While it’s clear that they have become friends, there are an awful lot of heart emojis being used!

Amber Rose and Maks Chmerkovskiy were eliminated following Latin Night, and they were sent home during Week 6 of the dance competition show. After their elimination, Maks posted a very sweet birthday message to Amber. She then reposted the image and shared her own caption, telling Maks just how much she loves him and how grateful she is for their new-found friendship.

“@maksimc I fell in love with you as a brother so quickly it’s hard to find that in this crazy world but here we are. Cheers to an amazing friendship that’ll last a lifetime. Thank you for having my back and I can’t wait to meet you and @petamurgatroyd’s lil guy he’s gonna be waaaaaay cooler then you Lol [sic].”

As for Amber Rose dating rumors, Romper reports that Amber was single when she signed on to do Dancing with the Stars. Following her divorce from Wiz Khalifa, Rose was dating Toronto Raptors star Terrence Ross. The two split over the summer, however, after just a few months. Amber Rose was later linked to French Montana (who also dated Khloe Kardashian), but the two denied the dating rumors. Apparently, they are nothing more than friends.

Rose discussed the never-ending dating rumors during a summer episode of her show. According to People Magazine, Amber stated that rumors surface the moment that she’s spotted with someone — even if it’s just a male friend.

“The next day it was just all over the Internet that we’re boyfriend/girlfriend. It’s like, you can’t even hang with somebody, like, in Hollywood and it’s like all of a sudden are f—ing,” she said.
