Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Selling French Chateau Miraval — Proof That Jolie-Pitt Divorce Will Go Forward?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are taking the next step in their divorce. The Hollywood couple has decided to put their sprawling French chateau in the Var department of south France up for sale. Does this mean the Jolie-Pitt divorce is moving forward despite rumors that Angelina and Brad may decide to reconcile?
Us Weekly reported that Chateau Miraval will be going up for sale any day now. According to the report, the home has been valued and very soon it should be officially listed. This means an end to the Jolie-Pitt Rose’ that has been produced from grapes grown in the prize-winning vineyards of the sprawling estate.
“It currently says ‘Jolie-Pitt’ on the Château Miraval bottles, and the next season’s batch will have a new, reprinted label with no names written on it,” a source told Us Weekly.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought Chateau Miraval back in 2012 for $60 million. The French estate is the site where Pitt and Jolie got married in 2014.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in mid-September after he was accused of both physical and emotional abuse of their son Maddox Jolie-Pitt. The private jet altercation was reported by someone on the tarmac as the Jolie-Pitt family deplaned, leading to a CPS investigation and an FBI investigation.
Many have thought that Angelina Jolie might have filed divorce documents in an attempt to protect herself and her children due to the investigation and there have been many reports suggesting that Brad and Angelina may end up reconciling before their divorce is ever final.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Angelina Jolie might be considering a reconciliation with Brad Pitt because their children are begging for mom and dad to reunite. Brad has spent time with all of the children now after finally coming face-to-face with Maddox just last week for the first time since Angelina filed for divorce.

Although it seems that Angelina Jolie is backing off a bit from her previously aggressive divorce and child custody fight with Brad Pitt, that doesn’t necessarily mean the whole thing will be called off. Last week, Brad was due to respond to the divorce filing and opted not to do so. Some speculated that this might mean they were getting back together while other reports including one from E! Online, said that Brad’s refusal to respond was his way of protecting the children from an ugly divorce battle.
With news that Chateau Miraval is going to be sold, it’s looking more like the Jolie-Pitt divorce is moving forward. Otherwise, why would Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie be interested in selling off one of their favorite pieces of property? The French estate was the site of their 2014 wedding and holds many family memories for the Jolie-Pitts. It stands to reason that if they were truly going to go their own ways, this would be the first piece of property they might want to unload.

Right now, Angelina Jolie and their six children are living in a rental home in Los Angeles. Before the divorce filing, the entire family split time between two of their homes in Malibu and Los Feliz. It is not known what Angelina’s long term plans are with the kids concerning where they will live.
Hollywood Life suggested that Angelina Jolie plans to move the kids to another country to get away from Brad Pitt. There has been a lot of speculation as to whether Angelina would want to do that or if Brad Pitt would be able to stop her. Currently, neither Brad or Angelina is commenting about their very public divorce and custody battle.
