‘Teen Mom OG’ Reunion Brawl — Punches Thrown, Security Escorts, And Threats Made
Teen Mom OG fans have a lot of drama coming to them when the reunion airs. The Season 6 reunion special was being taped this weekend and apparently yesterday’s shoot was filled with chaos which included security removing two members of the cast. Punches were thrown, threats were made, and things got pretty ugly fast. It was one of the most eventful reunion shows for the Teen Mom franchise and would be up to par with some of Bravo’s reality star’s antics.
According to the Ashley, Teen Mom OG stars Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham were involved in a brawl on stage. It all started when Dr. Drew Pinksy asked Simon Saran about comments he made regarding Matt Baier reportedly being a pedophile. Saran has been known to do impromptu roasts on the popular Snapchat app as Teen Mom OG is airing. There were some explanations happening and it looked as if an apology was coming from Saran just before Farrah opened her mouth. She insinuated that Baier looked like a pedophile and that is when the chaos began. Portwood flew on stage and began getting into her co-star’s face. After that, it was downhill.
Matt Baier had initially hit on Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans before settling down with Amber Portwood. The Teen Mom OG star called off the wedding she was planning with Matt Baier just a few weeks ago and while the two are still reportedly engaged, another date has not yet been set. While she was fighting with Farrah, more people began to get involved. Michael Abraham was in between the girls which prompted Baier to get up on stage. The two men went at it with Michael’s hands around Matt’s neck. It was at that point that security pulled the two men apart and escorted Amber and Matt away.
In the midst of all of this, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell attempted to get on stage and help Amber Portwood attack Farrah Abraham. The Teen Mom OG stars have all been against Abraham at some point or another and felt like they needed to let her have it. In fact, it is rumored that Bookout was screaming threats at her frenemy while being held back by security. All of this comes at a time when MTV just announced that Season 7 was definitely happening. It looks like things are going to have to be worked out in order for all of the Teen Mom OG stars to be able to be in the same room together.
The chaos just keeps coming for the Teen Mom OG cast. Maci Bookout just had her wedding to Taylor McKinney in Florida during Hurricane Matthew, Amber Portwood is recovering from a “mommy makeover,” and Catelynn Lowell is dealing with harsh criticism over the video of her naked child on Snapchat. It seems like they all have a lot going on in their lives and this animosity between them and Farrah Abraham just went overboard.
Generally, MTV keeps the Teen Mom reunions pretty tame. They each have their time on the panel with Dr. Drew Pinsky and get some time with everyone on the set as well. After the events that transpired yesterday, it will be interesting to see how everything will go down when it airs. Right now, there aren’t many comments available to the public, but a publicist for Farrah reportedly said that Michael Abraham’s actions were as a result of him defending himself. Social media is buzzing about the insanity that ensued during the Teen Mom OG reunion taping and when it airs, there are high hopes for some of the best ratings the show has seen up until this point.
