WWE Hall Of Fame Rumors: WWE Dropping Hints For 2017 Inductees
Normally, fans have to wait until after the Royal Rumble in January to get hints on who the WWE is considering for induction into their Hall of Fame. However, this year there are some major clues being dropped early and there are three people who might end up as huge additions when it comes to the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame rumors.
The first one seems very obvious at this time. Bill Goldberg just made his return to the WWE and challenged Brock Lesnar to a match. Goldberg is also on the cover of WWE 2K17 and that is also something to think about. When Sting and the Ultimate Warrior made the cover of the WWE video game and returned to the company, they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
In an interview at the WWE 2K17 launch party, Wrestling Inc reported that Goldberg said that being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame would be a dream come true and a true honor for him. It is almost a lock that Bill Goldberg will be in the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Next up for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame rumors is the annual female inductee. It seems like every year, the WWE inducts a new female into the WWE Hall of Fame. Jacqueline Moore, Alundra Blayze, Lita, and Trish Stratus were the last four inductees.
According to recent WWE rumors, PWMania reported that the WWE was planning on bringing back Trish Stratus to wrestle Asuka at NXT Takeover: Toronto but Stratus is now pregnant with her second child. As a result, the WWE called Mickie James to come in and wrestle Asuka at the event.
There are rumors that Mickie James will wrestle a few events in the next year and that makes it seem like she might end up as the next inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame as well. Mickie James is a six-time WWE Women’s/Divas Champion.

The final bit of 2017 WWE Hall of Fame rumors concerns Diamond Dallas Page. While he was in WCW, Dallas Page was one of the biggest faces of the company. While people look back and remember the nWo, Sting, and Goldberg, it was actually Diamond Dallas Page that was one of the top stars throughout the company’s glory days.
Dallas Page won the WCW world title three times, the United States title twice, the TV title once, the tag team titles four times, and was the company’s fourth Triple Crown Champion, following Ric Flair, Lex Luger, and Sting. He also held the WWE tag team titles and European Championship.

However, more than his in-ring accomplishments, Diamond Dallas Page also developed DDP Yoga. Using this workout program, he has helped turn around the lives of Scott Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, both of which entered the WWE Hall of Fame two years ago. The program also helped extend the careers of men like Goldust and Chris Jericho.
When it comes to WWE Hall of Fame rumors, there is also the idea of where the event will take place. In 2016, it was in Dallas so the Fabulous Freebirds, Stan Hansen, and Jacqueline were obvious choices.
This year’s event will take place in Orlando, Florida, and some options based on the location are the Dudley Boyz, Mike Graham, Steve Keirn, and even a headliner like The Rock. The 2017 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place on April 1, 2017.
