Jennifer Lawrence ‘Casually Dating’ Darren Aronofsky While Reuniting With Nicholas Hoult?

Jennifer Lawrence’s love life has been at the center of romance rumors lately. The 26-year-old actress is reported to be dating 47-year-old Darren Aronofsky.

A source has since confirmed to People on Wednesday, Oct. 20, that the two have started “casually dating” after they worked on an untitled film together over the summer. They were also photographed having lunch together at a cafe back in August. Lawrence was photographed wearing a white camisole while Aronofsky wore a gray T-shirt. The film, currently in post-production, focuses on a couple whose relationship is disrupted when unwanted guests intrude.

Lawrence previously told Harper’s Bazaar that she doesn’t have a “type” when it comes to who she dates.

“Patterns are the work of the devil,” Lawrence said. “If I think about all of my ex-boyfriends, they are all so uncomparable (sic),”

Before dating Aronofsky, Lawrence revealed to Vogue that she was single for six months and that she had a hard time getting a date.

“I am lonely every Saturday night,” she lamented. “Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.”

Though Lawrence has joked about her romantic life – or lack thereof – she already has a full and busy dating history, claims the outlet. She was last linked to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin back in 2014. Martin and Lawrence dated for four months before they ended their relationship in October. The two reunited in January 2015 and again in New York in April and in Los Angeles in May. Sources finally told People in August 2015 that Lawrence and Martin have ended their on-and-off relationship for good.

Prior to Martin and Aronofsky, Lawrence dated Nicholas Hoult. The two first met while filming X-Men: First Class back in 2010. They briefly ended their relationship in 2013 before reuniting both onscreen and off-screen in X-Men: Days of Future Past. They finally ended their five-year relationship in August 2014. Since then, rumors have been circulating that the two stars have since reunited their romance.

While it’s not been confirmed if Lawrence and Hoult will be reuniting for the next X-Men movie, fans are hoping that the couple will get back together. Hoult and Lawrence were seen as “relationship goals” among X-Men and Marvel fans. A love story between Mystique and Beast is likely to happen, so fans may look forward to seeing Lawrence and Hoult working together again in the near future, according to GamenGuide.

“However, the world of Hollywood is small when it comes to seeing a former lover. Whether it be on the red carpet, an endorsement shoot or a movie, estranged lovers in Hollywood will really have a chance to see each other again. As for Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, reports say that the two ex-lovers might have a chance to reunite for another movie project.”

Hoult has since moved on as well. He was seen with Glee star Dianna Agron just months after his split with Lawrence. The two X-Men co-stars have made it clear that they are no longer friends, which has fans believed that a reunion is still unlikely to happen.

“As of writing, reps for Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult have yet to issue a statement regarding the possible reunion of the ‘X-Men’ stars.”
