Are Chris Brown And Cydney Christine Dating? Singer’s Rumored Girlfriend Throws Shade At Karrueche Tran On Instagram

Chris Brown and Cydney Christine may have shut down dating rumors just last month, but it appears that Brown’s rumored girlfriend is now further fueling the budding romance claims after reportedly throwing shade at the “Loyal” singer’s former flame, Karrueche Tran, via Instagram on October 20.

Last month, Chris Brown and Cydney Christine found themselves at the center of dating reports after the duo was spotted attending a USC vs. UCLA Women’s volleyball match together on September 21, thus instantly igniting rumors suggesting that Cydney may be Brown’s first official girlfriend since calling it quits from Karrueche Tran in 2015. Similarly, rumors suggesting that Chris Brown’s new girlfriend may have been close friends with Karrueche Tran were further fueled after the Shade Room took to Instagram to share an old photo of Karrueche and Cydney posing for a pic together, although Tran’s manager was quick to dispel rumors of a former friendship between the models.

While Chris Brown has currently neglected to comment on the dating speculation between him and Cydney Christine, the 19-year-old model took to social media to shut down rumors suggesting that she is Brown’s new girlfriend after seeing photos of her and the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer appear on Instagram shortly after their outing in September.

“Sorry for the confusion. But we’re just friends,” Cydney Christine wrote in the comment section of the Shade Room’s photo just hours after sources close to Karrueche Tran denied rumors of an existing friendship between her and Christine.

Despite Christine’s efforts to shoot down the budding romance claims on Instagram, both Chris and Cydney appeared to only further fuel the dating rumors after they were spotted attending an annual Halloween event in Hollywood, California, together on October 20.

According to the Shade Room, Chris Brown and Cydney Christine were spotted in attendance at Hollywood Horror Nights on Thursday evening, as seen by both stars’ various Instagram and Snapchat stories posted to their respective social media accounts last night. In one video obtained by the site, Brown can be seen filming himself while giving an in-depth commentary of an attraction at the event before Cydney Christine can be seen entering the video for a brief moment. Shortly after the video was obtained, the site posted a second video that shows additional footage from Brown regarding his attendance at the event alongside a Snapchat video from Karrueche Tran who was also in attendance at the Hollywood Horror Nights event on October 20.

It didn’t take long for fans to begin flooding Cydney Christine’s Instagram page with questions regarding her alleged status as Chris Brown’s new girlfriend; specifically, one fan commented on a photo taken by Christine earlier Thursday evening to inquire about whether she feels Karrueche Tran would be upset with her decision to bring Brown to the annual Halloween event, thus prompting Cydney to throw a bit of shade at Karrueche in the comment section of her photo.

“@karrueche gonna beat your a**,” one fan wrote in the comment section of Cydney’s photo, prompting Christine to reply with a flat, “@boujie.bouj she can try lol.”

Currently, Karrueche has not responded to the newly emerged dating claims between Cydney and Chris and has not responded to the young model’s reported diss on Instagram, the Shade Room reports.

While fans eagerly await a response from Brown regarding the new dating claims, it’s worth noting that the Heartbreak on a Full Moon artist has been adamant about dispelling romance rumors between himself and other celebrities in the past. Earlier this year, Chris Brown shut down romance rumors between him and model Ammika Harris after fans began bombarding the singer with questions on social media regarding his relationship status.

“It’s funny that y’all want so badly for me to be dating someone,” Chris Brown explained to fans via an Instagram post. “I’m in love with my daughter. Learning how to LOVE MYSELF before I can open those doors.”

Similarly, Chris Brown previously shot down rumors of a new relationship between himself and baby mama Nia Guzman earlier this year after reports began suggesting that the duo were romantically linked after agreeing to amicably co-parent their 2-year-old daughter, Royalty Brown.

“Co-parenting. Not ‘TOGETHER.’ Clearing this up so there isn’t any confusion,” Brown revealed via Instagram in October 2015.

Similarly, for fans holding out hope that Chris Brown may be looking to reunite with former girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who called off her longtime relationship with the “Keep You in Mind” singer in early 2015 after learning of Brown’s brief romance with Nia Guzman, Brown seemingly shut down hopes of reconciliation between himself and the actress after asking fans to stop tagging him in old photos of him and Karrueche on social media.

In September, Chris Brown appeared to put an end to the ongoing reunion rumors between himself and Karrueche Tran after taking to Instagram to request that fans stop tagging him in throwback photos of him and the model after one fan shared an old post from Chris Brown in which he gushed over Tran in a “Woman Crush Wednesday” post on the social media site.

“@karrueche damn near 5 years and this woman still putting up with my s***,” Brown explained in his post from 2014, as shared by a fan on the social media site. “Need to have this baby and stop playing! Lol! My WCW.”

However, once fans began repeatedly tagging Chris in the throwback post from 2014, the “Back To Sleep” singer was quick to put an end to reconciliation rumors between him and Karrueche by telling the fan in question to “stop @ing me in this nutt a** s***.”

“Stop @ing me in this NUTT A** S***. If y’all fans of ME stop @ing me in this f***s***,” Brown explained in his comment.
