Jessa Duggar Simmers Rivalry With Jill Dillard In ‘Counting On’ Duggars’ News, Seewald Family Blog And Instagram Focus On Ben, Baby And Pregnant Mom

Jessa and Jill are just a year apart, which means that there are many reasons for them to have sibling rivalry. They got engaged, married and had baby boys also just months apart from each other, which got the news outlets comparing them as well. But it looks like Jessa and Ben are eager to simmer down any allegations of rivalry within the Duggars and, instead, are using their family blog and Instagram to show off their baby!

Also the fact that Jessa is pregnant for the second time means that she is already ahead of the race for a bigger family. She definitely is counting on more children to become part of Seewald brood.

To make sure that the news isn’t full of her being competitive with Jill, Jinger or the other Duggar sisters, Jessa confessed her sentiments about her older sister returning after a ten-month stay in Central America on the most recent episode of Jill and Jessa Counting On.

“We’re all really excited,” Jessa said according to Us Weekly. “For most everybody, it’s been nearly 10 months since they’ve got to hang out with them and see them in person. Jill and I have had so much in common over these past three years. It’s been difficult for me not to have that connection with her, sister to sister — now mom to mom. So we’re looking forward to having them back.”

Now that Jessa is going to have a second baby before Jill, it looks like she will become more experienced in getting pregnant.

To get ready for motherhood, second time around, the 23-year-old Counting On star has been concentrating on her baby Spurgeon, as when the second baby comes around, she will not be able to devote all her time towards him. Seewald family blog posts have been more about Spurgeon than ever, featuring him as the star of the show.

Most recently, she wrote about taking walks as a family with her husband Ben Seewald and baby Spurgeon, showing that she enjoys the small, but sweet moments.

“It was starting to rain, so we didn’t stay out too long, but it gave us a chance to unwind a bit and have some time together,” she wrote.

“A walk is a perfect time to enjoy each other’s company, appreciate God’s creation or talk about the day,” she continued. “With a little planning ahead, you could bring a blanket and a lunch and have a meal together in the great outdoors! We plan on getting in many more family walks before the weather gets too frigid.”

In fact, ever since she announced that she is pregnant with her second child, she has been very willing to share the spotlight with other Duggars. The first time that she debuted her baby bump to the public was through a picture with many of her grown sisters on family Instagram account.

“Jessa Duggar Seewald debuted her baby bump on Friday,” reports Daily Mail. “The 23-year-old, who is expecting her second child with husband Ben Seewald, is due in February 2017. The Jill & Jessa: Counting On star showed off her growing belly in a photo shared on the Duggar family Instagram on Friday. The reality star happily posed with sisters Joy-Anna, 18; Jill, 25; Jana, 26; and Jinger, 22. She put her baby bump on display in a pink blouse with a tan textured skirt, adding a simple gold necklace.”

But that doesn’t mean that she is totally shying away from having news outlets concentrate on her. Jessa and Ben made an official announcement about her getting pregnant and did not hide their excitement nor joy.

“We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as “big brother”,” she wrote in her family blog. “We are so thankful that God is adding to our family. 2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already and we know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role. Having Spurgeon has been such a wonderful blessing and we cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!).”
