Blake Shelton’s Ex Miranda Lambert Talks About Marriage & Kids
It’s been over a year since Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were divorced. Despite the heartache, the 32-year-old singer still has high hopes of having her own wedding and kids someday. According to E! News, the “Vice” hitmaker and her boyfriend, Anderson East, have been talking about taking their relationship to the next level.
“She wants to get married again and have children soon,” an insider revealed. “That has been an open conversation between her and Anderson. He wants the same.”
Lambert is allegedly happy with her new lover, and they have gotten very close over the past few months. According to the source, her friends think that East is the right guy for her. The songstress had been married to Shelton for four years, but they officially ended their marriage last year. While her ex-husband quickly moved on to another relationship with Gwen Stefani, it took her a few more months before she finally let someone in her life again.
“She is completely over Blake and wishes him only the best,” an insider said. “It was a time in her life that was special, but she’s happy that relationship took her to where she is now.”
The source also revealed that Miranda hasn’t spoken to the 40-year-old country charmer in a friendly way. She also isn’t sure if their relationship will go back to that level again. As for now, the former spouses allegedly don’t have any attachment to each other. The Pistol Annies member is currently busy promoting her double album,The Weight of These Wings, which is slated for release on November 18. She even posted the list of the songs included on her new album on Instagram.
“Miranda is at the top of her game now. She loves how she feels from the inside out,” their insider said. “Her close friends and family feel like she is back and better than ever with how her personal life is going and also her career.”
Lambert is reportedly excited to let everyone hear her sing again and can’t wait to go back on tour in 2017. Some of the songs reflect her life, and people will get to find out what she went through over the year, including her divorce from Shelton. According to reports, her vocal chords are in perfect condition right now, so it will be unlikely for her to cancel her shows the way she did on her last tour.
No matter how much Lambert and Shelton try to avoid each other, country music manages to bring them back together. Miranda and Blake recently reunited; and even if it was just for a song, fans were thrilled to see them together in the music video of “Forever Country.” This song featured famous artists, including the former lovebirds, and it was produced for “The 50th Annual CMA Awards.” Watch the music video below:
The much-awaited Country Music Associated Awards will be held on Nov. 22, and they will be aired live from Nashville. This would be the perfect opportunity for Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton to get together since both are included in the music video. However, it was only the songstress that’s been confirmed to perform at the event.
According to Rolling Stone, the blonde beauty will take the stage together with Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, and Kacey Musgraves. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will also do a duet on a medley of country classics. However, the magazine claims that the list of performers is expected to expand in the coming days, so there’s still a chance that “The Voice” coach will be there as well.
If Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton attend the CMA Awards, the two would probably bring along their respective partners, Anderson East and Gwen Stefani, as their dates. Of course, Anderson and Gwen could be busy with their own tours as recently happened during the ACM Awards. Lambert and Shelton reportedly attended the event on their own, but still managed to avoid an awkward run-in, so the same thing could happen at the CMAs.
