Lindsay Lohan Endorses Mitt Romney, Because Of ‘Employment’
Lindsay Lohan came out in support of Mitt Romney, confirming that in November she plans to vote for the GOP candidate.
As recently as September, it didn’t look like Lindsay Lohan would vote for Mitt Romney at all, as the actress retweeted several of the President’s tweets about taxes and education.
But all that seems to have changed in the past few weeks, as Lohan confirmed to E! that she was throwing her support behind the GOP’s top dog — and the reason is kind of funny considering we’re talking about Lindsay Lohan.
Of her plans to vote Republican, Lohan explains:
“I just think employment is really important right now … So, as of now, Mitt Romney. As of now.”
Lohan adds:
“It’s a long story.”
Of course, if you’ve been out of work for as long as Lindsay Lohan, it might be easy to buy into the “jobs jobs jobs” rhetoric of the GOP, but last we heard there were no programs in the works for former child actors with a penchant for getting hauled in by the LAPD and skipping out on hearings.
Indeed, Lohan’s employment issues are well-known, and it appears that her side-switching may have come after an open plea on Twitter to Obama that he lower taxes even on floundering child stars.
Back in September, Lohan tweeted:
@barackobama we also need to cut them for those that are listed on Forbes as “millionaires” if they are not, you must consider that as well

And Lohan’s Romney endorsement has been addressed by multiple twitterers, who have said:
Lindsay Lohan endorsed Mitt Romney because she believes people should pull themselves up by their own shoplifted bootstraps.

Today Lindsay Lohan endorsed Mitt Romney for president. And by “endorsed,” I mean “rear-ended a car with an Obama bumper sticker.”
