Kelly Dodd Fired By Bravo? ‘RHOC’ Stars Done With Her Drunken Outbursts, Petition To Ax Her Gains Steam
Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer Kelly Dodd has drummed up a lot of controversies this season.
Although it’s been fun watching Dodd stir up the drama with her fellow co-stars, Dodd may have crossed the line when she fat shamed a fan on social media. An online petition to fire Dodd is gaining momentum but will Bravo give Dodd the ax after Season 11 of RHOC comes to an end?
According to Real Mr. Housewife, it all started when Dodd got into a verbal dispute with Twitter fan @chellbell1973, who posted a commented that Dodd just didn’t like.
“Maybe try losing some weight because your kid is going to be ashamed that you’re a pig!!” Dodd wrote on Twitter. “Get off my page you pig!”

As if Dodd’s original comments were not bad enough, the reality star proceeded to heckle the fan on her own Instagram page.
“Put the fork down!! You’re kid is going to be embarrassed by you!!” she wrote.
Aside from the glaring grammar issues, Dodd’s outburst definitely crossed the line and might land her in hot water with Bravo producers.
Inquisitr previously revealed that Dodd later defended her actions on social media. When fans began to criticize Dodd for the comments, she told them that she was just hitting back and defending her own family.
“When ppl attack my husband & kid! I can’t say anything??” she wrote on Twitter. “That girl shamed my family! I can’t say the same thing bk?”
Dodd later added, “If some troll can come onto my site & spew hateful vulgarities & speak of lies about my husband & kid! You better believe I’m going 2 fight.”
Meanwhile, fans have started an online petition named, “Remove Kelly Dodd from RHOC,” which already has over 1,500 signatures.
“Kelly Dodd is out to make everyone feel terrible. She fat shames women, puts women down, causes drama etc.,” the petition explained. “She is not someone any young women in our country should be looking up to. She gets joy out of making people feel bad about themselves and she sees nothing wrong with the way she acts.”
According to Reality Tea, Dodd remains adamant that she never meant to fat shame the fan.
Instead, the reality star revealed that she is currently in “fat camp” in order to lose some weight herself.
“Listen, I’m at fat camp, I have a thyroid problem and I’m fat right now,” Dodd shared. “I have no room to talk. However, I am not going to put up with trolls harassing me and my daughter! I know now to ignore the trolls! Because this is exactly what they want – to make me look bad – and I fell into her trap!”
For Kelly Dodd, the fat shaming controversy couldn’t have come at a worse time.
In the most recent episode of RHOC, Radar Online reports that Dodd got into another fight with her fellow Housewives during the ladies’ ill-fated trip to Ireland.
Dodd tried to apologize to Tamra Judge for their epic fight last week that turned physical.
“I’m telling you what I did was wrong and I don’t want to harbor any bad feelings or anything like that,” Dodd told Judge.

Judge, unfortunately, didn’t want any part of Dodd’s apology.
“Thank you, but really Kelly, that’s something that’s so hurtful,” she replied.
The attempt at peace didn’t stand up.
Later, Shannon Beador stirred the pot when she pushed Kelly to drink.
“Shannon has this mission to get Kelly drunk, because she knows that crazy Kelly will come out,” Vicki Gunvalson told the audience.”This is naked wasted all over again.”
Once the women arrived at the airport for the trip home, things really got nasty.
It started when Dodd yelled at Beador for being a controlling drunk and adding, “Why don’t you go shave your chin? With all that hair on there.”
“You know what Kelly, you always take things to a new low,” Heather Dubrow chimed in. “[But] nothing you can say will hurt me, because you’re trash!”
To make matters worse for Dodd, Radar Online reports that her divorce from Michael Dodd might be back on. The couple filed for divorce back in 2012 but decided to work things out and remain together.
Now, it sounds like their marital problems are starting to re-surface. Michael recently retired from the business world and is spending more and more time at home. The only problem is that Dodd doesn’t want Michael at home so much.
“Now, however, he is always home and I wish he would go away somewhere,” Dodd wrote on her Bravo blog. “Heather should be careful what she wishes for.”
The pair originally planned to divorce because Michael was too much of a control freak. The only reason Dodd decided to stick with him was to keep the family whole.
With the drama heating up on RHOC, there’s no telling how it will impact Dodd’s marriage moving forward.
