Chris Brown Offering Rihanna ‘Support’ After Breakup With Drake [Report]

Chris Brown has allegedly been offering former girlfriend Rihanna “support” in the wake of her recent breakup with Drake.

After Rihanna and Drake officially called it quits earlier this month, Brown has reportedly been in contact with Rihanna via text to offer her his “support” now that she’s single again.

The Mirror is claiming that Chris allegedly texted Rihanna after hearing about her and Drake’s breakup, joking in the message that “she could lay on his chest if she needed a rock for support” as she handles her latest split.

The source then alleged that Rihanna replied to her exes’ message of support with one word, simply writing back to Brown, “lol.”

Neither Rihanna nor Chris have confirmed the supposed interaction, though the insider went on to claim that the twosome’s quick text conversation left Brown believing that a reconciliation could potentially be on the cards himself and Rihanna, who he split with back in 2013 after a rocky on/off romance that included Chris being arrested for domestic violence in 2009.

“That made Chris smile,” the site claimed of the text interaction between Brown and Rihanna that supposedly went down earlier this month. “[Rihanna’s] always giving him attitude and making him work it and he loves that about her.”

The latest reconciliation rumors to swirl around Rihanna and Chris Brown come after weeks of speculation that Brown is now trying to win back the “We Found Love” singer now that she’s no longer dating Drake.

Hollywood Life was first to allege that a reconciliation could be on the cards for the two, who dated on and off for six years before eventually splitting in 2013, claiming that despite their complicated history “[Chris] still loves [Rihanna] dearly” and can still envision a future with her.

“Chris doesn’t believe for a second that romance and intimate relationship with Rihanna is over for good,” the site claimed of Chris’s dating plans, adding that Brown believes that it’s “just a matter of time” until he wins back Rihanna’s heart and the two start dating again.

According to reports, Brown hasn’t exactly been shy about his desire to start dating Rihanna again, and has allegedly been lavishing Rihanna and her family with gifts following her Drake breakup.

But while Brown reportedly sees the possibility of a reconciliation with Rihanna, reports are suggesting the singer could also see him getting back together with another of his past ex-girlfriends, Karrueche Tran, who Chris began dating in 2010 before their on/off relationship eventually ended last year.

After Karrueche alluded to Brown’s track widely rumored to be about her, “Back To Sleep,” on social media earlier this month, Hollywood Life claimed that Chris believes her Instagram post was a hint that Tran is looking to get back together following their breakup last year.

“Either Karrueche’s looking for attention or she’s trying to tell Chris she still wants him. Breezy thinks it’s both,” a source revealed. “[Chris] wishes she’d just tell him how she really feels — that she misses and loves him.”

Reports claiming that Chris sees opportunities to get back together with both Karrueche and Rihanna come amid claims from Urban Islandz earlier this year that suggested that Brown will always love both of his exes and would reportedly never rule out a reconciliation with either of his former loves.

“[Chris] has women falling at his feet everyday but it always comes back to these two women,” a source told the site of Brown’s belief that he could start dating Tran or Rihanna again in the future.

“He does sees potential for a reunion because they both are in love with him too,” the Chris insider continued, but noted that getting back together with either of his exes would create a “trust and image issue” for the “Forever” singer.

“Lets just say [Brown] has not given up on either of them and who knows maybe one day he will get his heart desire,” the source said.
