Former ‘RHOM’ Star Lea Black Campaigns For Kelly Dodd: ‘She’s Brought Life To The Show’
Former Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black hasn’t been on Bravo for years, as the network decided to cancel the popular Miami franchise after its third season. The third season ratings were horrible because it was all about wedding planning and wedding drama because two of the stars were planning competing weddings. But just because Lea isn’t on the show anymore doesn’t mean she’s boycotted Bravo all together. As it turns out, Black has been watching The Real Housewives of Orange County and she’s a huge fan of Kelly Dodd.
According to a new tweet, former Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black fully supports Kelly on the show, as she was being attacked by her co-stars on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Many viewers felt that Shannon Beador had tried to set up Kelly by ordering her some double shots, knowing that she would completely lose control if she drank too much. Black saw the episode and she wants people to rally around Dodd, who is clearly all alone in Orange County.

“Everyone shoot root for Kelly Dodd because she’s brought life to the show. Good for ratings & drama,” Lea Black wrote on Twitter last night as the newest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County aired, to which Kelly replied, “Thanks Lea! You’re the best.”
However, loyal followers of Lea Black understood that she had a perspective on Kelly’s journey on the show, but they did not agree with Dodd being completely innocent. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has said things that are completely hurtful and out of line, including saying that she understands why Tamra Judge’s daughter chose not to have a relationship with her mother. In addition, Dodd has said things about Shannon Beador, revealing that she understands why her husband cheated on her. So while it may not have been fair for the ladies to gang up on her in Ireland, fans of Lea Black don’t exactly agree with her stance.

“Bless your heart b/c you are a personal favorite…do you have a fever? Kelly needs to excuse herself & get help!” one person replied to Leah, who wrote back, “She’s hilarious, owns up 2 mistakes, authentic & big personality. Sometimes a bit looney, easily baited. Perfect 4reality tv. [Love] her.”

Many people have argued that Lea Black’s friend Kelly has been a great addition to Orange County, especially since she isn’t scared of speaking her mind. While some people feel that she’s a refreshing addition to the cast, others feel that she’s just causing trouble between the ladies. Of course, drama tends to increase the ratings, which will result in bigger returns for both the network and the stars in question.

It is possible that Lea Black would return to The Real Housewives of Miami if she got the chance, since she’s still watching the other Real Housewives shows. It’s clear that she’s still very much invested in the reality television drama and her fans are campaigning to get the show back. But Bravo decided to focus on Potomac and Dallas for new franchises.
