Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly been dating in secret for over three years.

Since 2013, Holmes and Foxx have been romantically linked, but due to their ongoing denials about their relationship, their possible romance has become one of Hollywood’s biggest relationship mysteries of this time.

While Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx stay quiet about the exact status of their relationship, rumors continue to swirl and in the latest report regarding their potential romance, Holmes and Foxx are said to be ready for marriage.

On October 17, HNGN claimed the secret couple was ready to wed, but also suggested that Holmes’ ex-husband, Tom Cruise, would likely delay the ceremony. According to the report, Cruise has taken a stance against Foxx’s relationship with Katie Holmes because he simply does not want another man in his daughter Suri’s life. Still, Holmes is reportedly wearing an engagement ring already and likely to tie the knot quite soon.

“Though [Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s] representatives have denied wedding preparations, friends and close acquaintances maintain that they are very much together,” the outlet revealed to readers. “They have even discussed eloping or having a small, quiet wedding in an out-of-the-way potential marriage to Foxx could impact her custody agreement with Cruise.”

While Cruise has been rumored to have been absent from Suri’s life for the past few years, the outlet claimed Cruise might take a stand against the marriage between Katie Holmes and his fellow actor — as well as Foxx’s possible adoption of her daughter.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were first linked to one another in summer 2013 after they attended a charity party in The Hamptons in New York. Then, in the years that followed, the couple gave fans many reasons why they are likely a couple — despite denying the idea. In fact, they were once photographed holding hands with their feet together at a studio.

Since they were first linked, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have continuously added to the speculation into their romance and were most recently seen together in August at a Barbara Streisand concert in New York City.

Last month, Radar Online shared details of the couple’s night out, claiming that Katie Holmes openly cheered for her rumored man during the show as he sang alongside the iconic songstress. She was even seen in his dressing room at the event, but only because she was reportedly confident that the event’s strict security would prevent any photo or video leaks.

“They figured it wasn’t a violation of the public rule because security prevented photos. They were so discreet,” the source claimed.

As the same report explained, Katie Holmes is said to be banned from dating anyone publicly due to a certain rule of her divorce agreement with Cruise.

“[Katie Holmes] signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” the source claimed. “She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri. Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms — and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”

If Katie Holmes was to go public with Foxx, the outlet claimed, she would be forced to hand back the $5 million.
