Shaun White’s Case Delayed In Tennessee
Shaun White was expected to appear in court this week to address his most recent arrest but a Nashville judge has delayed the case.
According to ESPN, Shaun White’s case is expected to resume on November 20.
White was arrested last month after he allegedly pulled the fire alarm at a hotel. White is also accused of trashing his hotel room and getting into an altercation with a guest as he tried to flee the scene.
White, who was apparently drank an entire bottle of vodka before the incident, fell while trying to get into a cab outside and had to be taken to the hospital.
After the incident, White issued an apology to his fans.
The Olympic snowboarder wrote:
“I want to apologize for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests. I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away. I’m truly sorry for my poor behavior.”
Shaun White won gold medals at the 2006 and the 2010 Olympics. He’s also won several skateboarding awards. White has been able to turn his athletic accomplishments into a successful line of video games, clothing, and most recently BMX bikes.
