‘Dancing With The Stars’: Will Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s Dad Announcement Sway Votes For Amber Rose?
So far this season on Dancing with the Stars, there have been four eliminations as Vanilla Ice, Babyface, Rick Perry, and Jake T. Austin were all sent home from the competition. On Monday night, another celebrity will be shown the door and there are four couples last week that tied for the lowest score. However, one has to wonder if the announcement that Maksim Chmerkovskiy is leaving the show will sway voters to keep Amber Rose on the show.
As TV Guide reported, Maksim Chmerkovskiy said that he is leaving Dancing with the Stars and there is zero chance that he will return for another season. The reason is simple. Maksim Chmerkovskiy wants to be a full-time dad and his child is coming in January.

According to Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the child with fiancee Peta Murgatroyd would arrive in January and he would have to leave two months later to train the next celebrity for the 24th season of Dancing with the Stars. Maksim Chmerkovskiy said he would rather spend that time with his new child.
As Maksim Chmerkovskiy said, nothing that could happen on Dancing with the Stars would replace the moments that he would miss in the three, four, or five months of his new baby’s life. That means that this season might be the last one that anyone sees Maksim Chmerkovskiy dance on Dancing with the Stars.

The four duos that are in danger of elimination on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night are Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke, and Calvin Johnson, Jr. and Lindsay Arnold. Of course, anything could happen, but one has to think that the Maksim Chmerkovskiy announcement might sway some voters.
If this is the last season that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will dance on Dancing with the Stars, some fans might keep Amber Rose in the competition as long as possible to keep the fan favorite professional on their TV screen. As long as there are other dancers who struggle, Maksim Chmerkovskiy might keep Amber Rose safe.

While those Dancing with the Stars couples are all in danger, it looks like James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, Marilu Henner and Derek Hough, Terra Jole and Sasha Farber, and Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy should be completely safe from the voting elimination this week.
Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko also have a strong chance of elimination, even over the four couples that received lower scores. While the idea of awarding the best dancers is the goal of Dancing with the Stars, it is still a popularity contest. Not as many people know her outside of this competition as they do the other stars.

Amber Rose seems very happy about the Maksim Chmerkovskiy announcement. It isn’t because she wants to see him retire, but she just says she is happy to know he is going to be a father. She spoke with People about her Dancing with the Stars partner’s big news.
“He’s obviously very loving, and very sweet and passionate. He’s gonna be a great dad.”
As for Maksim Chmerkovskiy, he is just happy to get a chance to be a dad and says that he can’t wait for Peta to pursue any of her dreams and career goals while he styays at home as a full-time dad, changing diapers and more.
